저는 그레이바이실버를 대표하여 시상식에서 소회를 충분히 나누었기에, 그 자리를 만들어 준 한국대중음악상에 대한 감사를 전하고 싶습니다. 수상의 기쁨만큼 시상식 자체가 행복했던 이유는 음악 생태계 속 아름다움을 볼 수 있었기 때문입니다. 여러 다양한 아티스트들이 열심히 자신의 삶을 바치고 있고, 또 그들의 음악이 마치 밑그림만 있는 것 같은 세상에 채색을 더해 주고 있다는 것을 엿볼 수 있었습니다. 그 작품을 하나라도 더 세상과 연결하기 위해 많은 분들이 애써 주시는 모습을 보니, 고군분투하며 이 자리를 만들어 오신 한국대중음악상이 참 소중하게 다가옵니다. 저희가 박수를 받은 만큼, 저희의 박수를 한대음에 드리고 싶어요, 모든 한국대중음악상 관계자 여러분께 깊은 감사를 다시 전합니다. - Since I had the opportunity to share my reflections on behalf of Gray by Silver at the awards ceremony, I would now like to express my gratitude to the Korean Music Awards for making that moment possible. What made the ceremony truly special, beyond the joy of receiving an award, was witnessing the beauty of our music ecosystem. I could see so many artists dedicating their lives to their work, adding vibrant colors to a world that might otherwise feel incomplete, like a sketch waiting to be filled in. 자연 속 생명들이 시간을 따라 새싹을 틔우고, 다시 소멸하며 순환을 이루듯, 자연의 한 조각인 우리들도 그러하다고 생각해요. 시계 속 세상은 우리가 같은 시간을 살아가는 듯 보이게 하지만, 피고 지는 때가 모두 다른 우리들은 사실 저마다의 계절이 흐르고 있지요. 나무의 시간은 저에게 그 시간을 느낄 수 있게 해 주었고, 앞으로도 지속될 삶과 음악의 주제입니다. 제 자신은 여전히 부족함이 많지만, 이번 앨범을 통해 사랑을 말하고, 자연을 노래하며 그 음악을 시나브로 닮아가는 삶을 살겠습니다. 진심으로 고맙습니다. - Just as life in nature sprouts, fades, and returns in cycles, we too, as part of nature, follow this same natural flow. The world measured by clocks creates the illusion that we all share the same time, yet we each bloom and wither at different moments—each of us carries our own seasons. Time of Trees has helped me sense this flow of time, and it will continue to be a guiding theme in my life and music. I still have much growing to do, but through this album, I hope to speak of love, sing of nature, and slowly become the music I make. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

우리는 흔히 당연하고 이질감이 없는 것을 ‘자연스럽다’라고 합니다. 긴 시간 자연스러운 소리를 위해 덧대고 꿰맨 고민들이 한 덩어리가 되어, 음악을 듣는 분들께 공감으로 전달될 수 있었던 것 같아 보람을 느낍니다. 앞으로도 그레이바이실버의 멤버, 그리고 대금 연주자로서 자연스러워지는 과정이 계속 이어지기를 바랍니다. 감사합니다. - We often use the word “natural” to describe something that feels right and unforced. Over time, the worries and efforts we’ve woven together in pursuit of natural sound have merged into one, and I find it rewarding that they seem to have reached listeners as something meaningful.
