Gravity Eden - Photoshoot May 26
Eden, Bega Valley, Sapphire Coast, NSW
@gravityedenmtb
Had one helluva time out in the hills creating new images for the Gravity Eden MTB crew to keep things fresh out there. A full day of great riding from the family friendly cruisers, faster single track up and down for the burn, pump track stoke for the kids (and big kids), jumps park for some big airs and into the hills for some steep descents on the trails, drop offs and berms.
This barely scratches the surface of the images captured that day so keep your eyes peeled as they drop into the future.
Massive shoutout to all the riders who made it work @kado_246@oliver_dinwoodie@brendo_107@sickwoodie@dean.did.f@ansellgemma and the families and kids who lent their time and energy to make it super fun.
Big thanks to Jac for making it happen and bringing us all together and @cutlaps for taking care of the drone/film footage... That will be one wicked drop when that footage gets out.
So what are ya waiting for.. grab your kids, grab your crew and get on your bike!

WEEKEND DIRT REPORT
Trail conditions and weather: well thankfully the wind last week didn't seem to cause too much havoc with fallen trees just some light trail debris in a few places.
We've finally had a few drops of rain this week - not a heap but it does settle the dust just a little bit.
Amazing Autumn continues with great temps and riding conditions for bulk laps.
Trail of the week: our trail crew have given Breath of Fire a top to bottom tidy up. This trail was initially marked as a flow descent but over time has started to develop hints of jank and is more of a tech trail in places, but still has plenty of flowy berms and opportunities for air time especially if you get creative with your line choice.
Put the effort in for the climb to enjoy this long descent.
Straight Six and Old Tom are still running fantastic to give you plenty of options for your ride.
Sponsor Shout-out: Thanks to @reflectionsholidays for their sponsorship of Breath of Fire. Close to the lake and the beach and dog friendly - it's a great option for your next Eden trip. Hot tip - they currently have a Stay 4 Pay 3 deal on. Check the website for more info and other deals.
Disclaimer: conditions as at Thursday 14 May. Riders should remain alert for potential hazards and changing conditions.

Trail conditions and weather: yikes! Who put in the request for winter yesterday?! Temps definitely dropped quickly and while it's still cooler today than it has been thankfully it's not quite so bitey.
We had some strong winds on Thursday and continuing today though so there may be some fallen branches or trees about. Send us a message or log a TrailForks report if you come across any issues and we'll get out as quickly as we can.
Trail of the week: Our trail crew have put in the hard work on Straight Six over the last week clearing out all that loose rock and chunder. This crowd favourite trail is ready for shredding.
Sponsor Shout-out: massive thanks go to The Great Southern Inn, sponsor of Straight Six and the Monday Night home of the Curry Riders. It's the perfect venue for a good pub meal and a drink after a days riding.

🚴♂️ Social Sundays at Gravity Eden ☕️🤙
Next ride: Sunday 17 May @ 9:30am
We’re back for another cruisy social lap about an hour (ish) rolling the green & blue trails at Gravity Eden, then straight into post-ride coffees and hangs.
Meet at the Gravity Eden trailhead/carpark (off Storey Ave).
This one’s all about the stoke 🤙 perfect for new riders, getting back into MTB, or just spinning the legs without any pressure. No racing, no egos just good vibes and trail time.
Fitness? Don’t stress it. We regroup regularly, no one gets left behind and every trail loops you back to the carpark if you need to bail early.
Bring the stoke, bring your mates and let’s roll into Sunday the right way 🤘
WEEKEND DIRT REPORT
Trail conditions and weather: starting to feel like a broken record but.... It's a little bit more of the same from last week. Cool nights, warm days, no rain and a bit more dust than last week. Still fantastic riding conditions out there.
Trail of the week: we're giving it to Creek Run this week. A super short but super fun little black tech trail, this one gets well looked after by some local trail fairies so is almost always running mint.
Old Tom will also remain a top pick this week with further work taking place over the last few days.
With some pretty extensive trail work happening at the moment, we're going to recommend you make plans to ride next weekend. Consider this your notice!
Disclaimer: conditions as at Thursday 30 April. Riders should remain alert for potential hazards and changing conditions.

🌞 Gravity Eden / Eden MTB Club Summer Superstar 🌞
Big shoutout to Kel our inaugural winner of the ‘Summer Superstar’ Club award, where we’ve voted Kel our volunteer of the season.
Kel is a true legend putting in the work behind the scenes 👏
From trail fairy efforts on Prana and Old Tom, to installing our new tool stand at the trailhead and leading the development of a trailhead master plan - this is what community is all about.
Always bringing the good vibes and staying properly stoked on bikes 🤙 Thanks Kel.
We see you and we appreciate you! Enjoy the Gravity Eden tee, and we hope the kids enjoy a couple free games at Top Fun Merimbula. This one’s well deserved 🙌
If you want to make sure a local legend volunteer gets recognised for their work, drop us a line and let us know who you think is stepping up out there.
(And to the O.G volunteers who've been putting in the work for years - we haven't forgotten you....)

Trail conditions and weather: little bit more of the same from last week. Cool nights, warm days, no rain and a bit of dust. Still fantastic riding conditions out there.
Don't forget the ANZAC Biscuit Ride this Sunday @ 9am. Meeting at the trailhead for a ride up to the Flow Zone. Coffee and biscuits after the ride.
Trail of the week: our crew have been thinking of the senders this week with Old Tom getting some serious attention. The top half has been tidied right up with some repair work happening on a few blown out sections. The crew haven't quite finished the whole trail but that top section will be 👌 And yes - Old Tom was our trail of the week not that long ago but sometimes we're just vibing on a trail and it gets some extra love.
Jump Stumper and Sodium should also be running primo for those looking for something a little less rowdy with a focus on flowy fun.
Sponsor Shout-out: big thanks to Pelican Motor Inn Merimbula - the fantastic sponsors of Old Tom. The perfect MTB friendly accommodation for those planning to base themselves in Merimbula.
Disclaimer: conditions as at Thursday 23 April. Riders should remain alert for potential hazards and changing conditions.

Bike Stolen from Supply Central
Unfortunately, on Monday 13th of April, one of the hire e-bikes out the front of Supply Central Eden was stolen. The bike is a matte and gloss black Patrol E-Seven E-Bike. The bike is numbered 16 on the frame. If anyone sees this bike or knows of its whereabouts please reach out to us or the team at Supply Central.
WEEKEND DIRT REPORT
Trail conditions and weather: the sand and dust is making a return out on the trails so a little extra attention to your front wheel will help.
The forecast has the wind picking up later today and into tomorrow. Riders should use caution when heading out when the wind picks up - watching for tree fall and unexpected trail debris. If you come across any issues let us know ideally with a picture and a pin on a map so we can pick the right tools and get out there quickly to fix it.
This Sunday, there will be a managed burn taking place at the Pony Club grounds along the access road to our trailhead. This burn will be managed by the Eden RFS. You may notice some smoke in the area. The burn is expected to be completed by midday.
Trail of the week: Jump Stumper has been getting a little tickle this week (with our crew out there again today) returning the flow to this speedy, fun trail.
Sodium should also be running clear and free for you to maximise your descents this weekend.
Sponsor Shout-out: thanks to to Coachman's Motel for their sponsorship of Jump Stumper. It's their support that allows us to get out there and keep the trail running clear and free.
Disclaimer: conditions as at Thursday 16 April. Riders should remain alert for potential hazards and changing conditions.
