ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: LAKI MATA 🍎🌸🍄🌳 In Jewish mythology, Lilith is known as Adam's first wife, who chose to forge her own path, leaving Adam behind. Lilith's refusal to obey thus became a threat. Eve's act of eating the forbidden fruit, on the other hand, became the original sin that has taken away mankind's innocence. In the myth of womanhood, Laki Mata presents the failure of these women to comply as an act of empowerment and autonomy.
