Meet the squad… but make it legendary 😎 This is my dad, Jim. You might catch him on the streets during events making everyone in ear shot aware we have cool stuff, cleaning up (because he cannot sit still), or covering the shop slanging deals! And honestly… he probably taught me everything I know about that part. Yard sales growing up? Oh yeah—he was our lead negotiator. No price tag was safe. He shreds guitar, lives and dies by Cleveland sports (even when they absolutely test your loyalty), and somehow manages to be both the biggest jokester and one of the kindest humans you’ll ever meet. And don’t worry—he would NOT approve of this post if I didn’t mention my mom, Jeanie ❤️ The real thrifting queen who turned his love for the hunt up to 11… or maybe 21. Together, they built our family on faith, love, and a whole lot of patience (raising us was no small task). Getting to work alongside my dad and see how excited he is about this dream coming to life… that’s something I don’t take lightly. It’s pretty special. GET TO KNOW THE SQUAD! This is my younger brother Dustin. If you see him at the shop and your first thought is “that dude looks intimidating” — that’s just the big grizzly beard doing its job. In reality he’s about the softest, chillest person you’ll meet. Buster as we often call him, has been incredibly supportive while we’ve been getting this going, and his whole crew has too. His wife Marissa and their kids Cece and Barrett are part of the team too. And between them and their cuz Gracie, the toy and kids section is constantly being reviewed by the toughest critics around to make sure everything is properly rated “6–7”… or whatever the kids are saying these days. You’ll probably catch Dustin around the shop picking a new movie, talking wrasslin’ or the Cavs, or helping keep things fully stocked :) But here’s Dustin: “What’s up everybody! Dustin here. Many of you have probably seen me at the store and just thought it was Ryan but I’m actually his younger brother… but just so you know I take no offense to the mistake but Ryan on the other hand should consider it a very high compliment 😂 More seriously though, I have two wonderful kids Cece (11) and Barrett (8) and a beautiful wife, Marissa. My favorite things to collect are wrestling, music, clothes, movies and video games. Rowdy is pure happy insanity — young, energetic, loves people, and convinced every day is the best day ever. Oliver… not so much. He’s selective, prefers things from the past he already knows, and doesn’t believe he’s as old as he feels (even if his hip might disagree). Joey and I love them both like crazy! Just some internal monologue stuff: if they were in Homeward Bound, Rowdy for sure would’ve wandered off to make new friends and Oliver would’ve just stayed home. You’ve probably already seen her around the shop — she’s been one of the biggest supporters of this whole thing and I’m so thankful for her and her family! ❤️❤️❤️ She’ll be popping in from time to time helping with events or hanging out at the store. You might also see her husband Adam around (fixing all the stuff my dumb self didn’t know how to), and their daughter Gracie making sure the toy section stays fully stocked… unless she’s out on the softball field hammering homers. Here’s a little intro from Sarah herself: “Hey friends!! 👋 I wanted to introduce myself since you’ll be seeing my face around the shop as I jump in to help out from time to time! I’m Sarah — married to my husband Adam, and momma to our sweet 10-year-old, Gracie. We’re proud to call Norton home, and I stay pretty involved in our little community whenever I can 🤍 If you know me, you know I LIVE for vintage finds and thrifting — treasure hunt every time. It’s something that’s in our DNA. My brothers and I grew up with that love thanks to our Mom and Dad. We lost our mom this February, and while it’s been a hard season, we’re doing our best to keep building our lives, staying close, and carrying on the things she loved most… especially a good deal! On top of that, my family just bought a new home, and we’re currently in full-on DIY mode — so if I look a little tired, just know I’m powered by coffee and home projects! GET TO KNOW THE SQUAD! This is Joey (@softmachineman ). Around here he’s my partner in life, my biggest supporter, and now an occasional partner in crime at the shop or an event. If you’ve been around The Graveyard since the early days, chances are you’ve already seen him around. Joey has been there through the whole ride — the idea phase, the late-night planning, the chaos of getting everything off the ground, and the rollercoaster along the way. He’s been the biggest supporter (of which I am lucky to say I have many) of this wild dream from day one, and having him in my life, is a dream come true and something I’ll never be able to really thank him for. He’s goofy, endlessly supportive, and the kind of person who can make literally anything entertaining… including watching him browse the racks for way longer than he probably should. Here’s Joey in his own words: “Hey it me Joey! 👋 Do you like cheesecake? Cus I do. You will prob see me shopping around in the store cus I can’t help myself. I promise I work too! If Courage the Crowdly Dog, Ed Edd n Eddy, Ruggrats, Teletubbies, CatDog, & The Wizard of Oz had a combined personality trait that would be me I think maybe.
