Folks, Senior Foster Dog Lucy is a Menace...in the best ways possible.
.
How do you feel about personal space? Haven't thought much about it? Perfect. No reason.
.
Considering adopting a senior dog to fit your quiet, low activity lifestyle? We're afraid you may have wandered onto the wrong profile. Lucy comes with a loaded social calendar and OPINIONS.
.
Have you been considering a dog with political aspirations? Look no further. Lucy has a platform she's passionate about. All walks are now her campaign trail, and she will insist on meeting everyone within a 40' radius to explain said platform. Might as well accept your new role as campaign manager.
.
While we don't have a full history, we're pretty sure Lucy previously lived with Benjamin Button, because she's clearly learned a few tricks from him - that's right, this girl is a case study in reverse ageing.
.
In foster care, Lucy has shown that she adores kids, can make friends with cats, and she's happily met numerous dogs. Basically, if you can handle her bouncy energy and propensity for rapid smooching, she's down to cohabitate.
.
She's an expert copilot, loves running errands, and has become a regular at numerous local dog-friendly destinations.
.
Lucy may have arrived at the shelter in rough shape, but she has flourished since, and is now a vibrant, funny, loving ball of Main Character Energy. At thirteen, she has a couple of medications that help keep her that way - daily eye drops for chronic dry eye and a benign dermoid growth ("lump") in one eye, as well as artificial estrogen for some (completely controlled) age-related incontinence...and that's it. It's a short list.
.
Despite her years, Lucy doesn't come with Baggage...but she does come with an entourage. This girl is ADORED. We know you'll adore her too. And you're in luck - she's a firm believer that you can never have too many best friends.
.
For more information, email her temporary campaign manager at
