Highlights from an unreal day in Indianapolis celebrating a timeless love of two incredible people
These two book lovers said “I do” at the stunning Indianapolis Central Library. When RSVPing, they had each guest submit the title of their favorite book, and on the back of each guest’s name cards at the reception, the couple had picked out & printed a quote from their respective books. This sums up how their intentionality, thoughtfulness and prioritization of quality time with their most important people guided their day.

I am sometimes unintentionally mysterious on here, so I’m sharing an about me dump that you’ve ALL been begging(!!) for. Probably everything you need to know about me & more. Should have added “oversharer” in there somewhere. Gold star to whoever reads every word (aka Mom, Dad & 3 other people).
An addition to my photo ethos: I believe connection & comfortability with your wedding photographer is extremely important. I want you to feel at ease, to express yourself authentically, be present & have a damn good time. There’s the right photographer out there for everyone. To my couples, my goal is for you to feel like I’m a seamless addition & a chameleon that complements the setting & the people surrounding you on your day. The more comfortable you feel with me & the more I understand you, the better the result.

Where do I even begin with this unreal weekend celebrating an amazing couple??? Asking myself, for a friend (the friend is also me). Like truly jaw on floor moments from start to finish this perfect spring weekend in Chicago — from Friday night’s intimate religious ceremony + rehearsal dinner to Saturday’s stunning celebration with their favorite people. These two have such a sweet love, they’re both so easy & fun to be around. Contagious energy from them & their people from the first conversation to their last song on the dance floor.

Jen & Jake part 1!!!
Two of the sweetest people got married last weekend in a stunning ceremony at @thedalcy . Smiles that couldn’t be wiped from their faces, the ketubah signing in a lush space surrounded by family, and poetic vows under a stunning chuppah. Plus, the best group of people there to celebrate them. My team & I kept commenting all day how the energy from their wedding party, family & guests was unmatched, the kind you can’t fabricate.
As was said in a speech later in the evening, their late grandmothers were best friends and would be so happy knowing they ended up together 🥲

A&S, the most beautiful April Saturday & a trip to City Hall with their families & and a cameo from their sweet pup Aspen
The personality these two brought to their photos was so special — the best way to combat nerves of being in front of the camera is by just being yourselves
Might be a first for me too, as I left with a handmade souvenir from their wedding — the groom used his love of pottery to make individual mini vases for every person involved in their wedding, from their family members to the judge to me 🥹
