Happy Father’s Day to the fathers who couldn’t be with there loved ones today. I originally didn’t want to design this for a few reasons. One, in particular, was I dreaded the thought of having to create portraits every time a black person was killed unjustly in America. There’d be no end as these few weeks have shown me. Luckily my sister reached out and asked if I could make the design, and helped remind me we all have a bigger part to play. I am a black designer & black lives do matter. This is dedicated to George Floyd’s daughter and his family. And to all the children whose fathers or mothers may have not had the opportunity to come home.
