“I’m now very conscious of the actualisation of each beat. It’s about writing while understanding the pacing of a sequence—the rhythm.” @grant_singer began his career as a sought-after music video director, working with top artists like Taylor Swift and The Weeknd. He has since made a seamless transition to acclaimed film direction. With a deep passion for the medium, Singer opens up about his creative influences, the unique challenges he faced, and how he blends his love for music and visuals to craft compelling stories with a distinct cinematic edge.

I’m not sure if there’s been anyone as supportive of the movie over the last year as @thepatriksandberg . I’ll never forget the first time I showed you the film and the note you wrote me. I was so moved by your reaction. It was Patrik’s idea to do the Metrograph premiere, he introduced me to @theionpack who I love, and he’s now written a great piece in @interviewmag where we talk about the making of the film. Patrik, I’m so grateful for you, our friendship, and that you’ve always been there for me. Thank you
