Thanksgiving is for family, friends, and being grateful those around you. That’s why this year I’ve decided to spend the holiday with my family, and Grandview baking will be closed for the week of Thanksgiving
That does mean that there’ll be no fresh bread for pickup on Tuesday the 26th or Friday the 29th and all holiday orders will be fulfilled for Friday the 22nd - great news is that the bread freezes exceptionally well and I’ll give directions for bringing it back to the fresh and delicious gluten free level that you know, love, and have come to expect from Grandview Baking
Please get your orders in soon for pickup Tuesday the 19th and Friday the 22nd

An exciting next step in the story of Grandview Baking
As business has grown, the demand for our gluten-free / sourdough / vegan bagels has skyrocketed. A delightful way to start the day at home or at @fourtillfourcafe , @queenstage_coffee , or @jitterscoffeepub - with more cafes catching into the delicious bagels soon no doubt
It’s amazing having watched this bread grow and evolve - the loaf that started it all sure looks a whole lot different to the delightful bagels that are spreading rapidly but all are made by hand with love (under the watchful eye of Norah the Bakerdog)
At this time we’re ceasing making loaves to focus solely on bagels (still gluten free, sourdough, and vegan!) and we’ll have loaves available again around the holidays. For now keep getting your gluten free sourdough fix via tasty bagels - Everything, Plain, or Sesame. Still available to order here for pickup at Queenstage as well

The symmetry and calm before the score. The slices allow the bread to pop open in a predictable (and beautiful) way, but there’s something about how the loaves look laid out and ready to go that always catches my eye
