Thank you is not enough for showing up even when I don't show up here. Your patronage makes my staff show up for their family. Earlier in 2023, I proposed closing down so I could focus on my new journey. They asked me, "Mama, where do you want us to go? It's not that easy. " Another said, " Don't worry, we will try our best." I became weak. I have both permanent and adhoc staff totalling 14. And the business have always paid their salaries. So I had a rethink but I won't pay salaries with my money. The business must be able to take care of itself. In fairness to them, they have done well, and I am grateful for the gift of you, our dear customers, in order to support these ones. I promise to show up more this year and be in your faces as much as I can. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you Yours, Adeola

Sept 2021, I packed my bags, with dreams in sight, left my thriving businesses @thepepperwoman and @grandmashut.ng for the unknown. With my one-way ticket, my path laid clear, no turning back, no lingering fear. ITS JAPA OR JAPA STILL! Bade farewell to friends and family so dear. Embarked on this journey, with hope and cheer to chase my aspirations like a shooting star. Back to the four walls of the classroom with very vibrant and 'fresh-from-the-uni GenZs'. My heart skipped. How do I keep up with these guys. Haaaa. It didnt really bother me so much until the day I realised I was the oldest in that class. That was when I decided I must graduate with a DISTINCTION!!! I must not be an 'agbaya' 😆 😅 And YES I MADE IT!!! Guysssss. I just MASTERED IT for the second time with DISTINCTION!!! #TUgrad

Congratulations HILDA!! I am happy your resilience and dedication paid off. You are a strong woman! ----------------------------------------------------------- While I congratulate Hilda Baci on this great feat I just cant but give some credits to this  kitchen assistant who stayed by her side throughout the event, providing encouragement and support.  Everyone needs this kind of guy in their corner. People like this guy may not be in the spotlight 'o but won wa very significant baje'. They will help you move mountain. If you have them in your kitchen, factory, office wherever pls don't loose them because 'dem too scarce!' They are limited edition kind of people. I once had an assistant just like him. Hmmm Michael , he was so helpful I couldnt help but shed tears when he needed to go back to his country complete his apprenticeship program. He was my ride or die.  He would hail me when I'm overwhelmed just to make me laugh and tell me I should just sit and look at him while he solves the problem. Oops apologies I digressed 😃 😀 😄 If you were awake around 3am this morning you will understand me better. I was scared for Hilda, at that point she could not lift her hands, she was exhausted, the guy kept pushing her and telling her to pick up her spoon. He might not be skilled but definitely knows the ins and outs of the kitchen, and his  calm and composed demeanor helped alleviate any stress Hilda might have felt during the intense cookathon. He would bend with her to encourage her with his words and beaming smile. Whenever doubts or insecurities crept into Hilda's mind, he was there to lift her spirits and remind her of her skills and talent. He kept cheering Hilda on, reminding her to stay focused and trust her instincts till she went for her 1hr break around this morning around 08:00. I think I heard Hilda call him BASSEY. He was a constant source of encouragement and motivation for Hilda during the night and he is still there with her. Thank you BASSEY and CONGRATULATIONS once again HILDA
