It dates back to 2012 when Bram, a young Dutchman, arrived in Chongqing and met Sunyoung at the legendary club Cicipark. The two hit it off and started a series of parties called ”T For Techno,“ playing a wide variety of dance music genres: minimal techno, deep house, electro… It became quite famous. Little did they know that this collaboration would foreshadow the birth of the EchoBay club years later. Time has passed, and it‘s 2026 cicipark has been reborn, moving from the banks of the Jialing River to the banks of the Yangtze River! A new venue, a new beginning—new and old friends gather here, and new and traditional events complement each other perfectly. cicipark’s most representative series of events, ”Time For Techno,“ celebrates its 14th anniversary.
