"By Our Hands" depicts two hands stretching a thread across a map of the world. Stitch by stitch, the hands weave a network connecting continents to reflect how Graco’s ideas, tools and expertise travel across borders.
The idea of perspective is central to Saype’s work — from the ground, the 210 by 182 foot work breaks into fine details. From above, it becomes whole, where the 3D effect and composition are fully visible.
Another important part of the experience is that the artwork is temporary by design. Painted with 100% biodegradable materials, the mural will gradually fade over the coming weeks, returning the landscape to its natural state.
