When I set this on @jdcharleston in 2024 I donât think I had ever choreographed an instrumental group before. It felt new, but I leaned into these dancers and it completely shifted how approach choreography.
Thank you to these amazing artists. Whether youâve graduated, moved on, or weâre still working together, I think about being in a room with you all again more than you know. Such a special time. This piece wouldnât have been the same without each of you. And I wouldnât be the same without this piece.
