My favorite (solo) portraits in Southeast Asia ✨Oh man, it was so hard to choose only 10 photos in a carousel, I wish @instagram gave the option to share more!
One of the most common questions I get is "who takes your photos if you're solo traveling?" A lot has been with my tripod but others from people I’ve met throughout my travels! The worst that can happen is someone saying no, which hasn’t happened to me yet, so thank you to everyone whose helped me capture these moments ❤️
So, from the many to choose from — here are some of my favorites✨
1. Cebu, Philippines (📸: Suti & BJ - the best tour guides)
2. Legazpi, Philippines (📸: Jobi - tour guide)
3. Chiang Mai, Thailand (📸: tripod)
4. Chiang Mai, Thailand (📸: @happyasmaa )
5. DaNang, Vietnam (📸: tripod)
6. Ban Rak Thai, Thailand (📸: tripod)
7. Bangkok, Thailand (📸: @goldtrifecta )
8. Siem Reap, Cambodia (📸: tripod)
9. Halong Bay, Vietnam (📸: @apoorvverve )
10. Chiang Mai, Thailand (📸: tripod)
Which one is your favorite? ☺️
Limited photos per post, unlimited memories. Running around the world with a camera has felt nothing less than a dream. I’m sharing this because I feel like I’ve woken up from this dream. These photos allow me to relive these moments, and I am forever thankful to everyone who helped create these moments come to life:
Slide 2: I still remember the waves finally getting me the second after the photo was taken. This moment made me feel so free
Slide 3: I was cold and I didn’t want to wake up for sunrise but the moment I got out of the car, I rushed to one of my favorite places of all time
Slide 4: making the vision come to life
Slide 5: this photo is a special one
Slide 6: every time I look at this photo, I wish I had bts on how it was captured
Slide 7: the bridge walking up to this spot was shaky as hell but my camera still caught focus
Slide 8: idk how I pulled it off with the bees but hoped for the best and expected the worst
Slide 9: ty Phil for making my kdrama wishes come true, I loved this photoshoot sm
Slide 10: first time in the UAE and loved all the moments in between
Slide 11: the start of my love for foliage
Slide 12: the rebirth of my love for solo travel
Slide 13: I will never forget Daniel, Derek & Chrystal yelling across the field to tell me to move an inch to capture this. Best crew ever
Slide 14: I was so happy and proud of this shot
Slide 15: this was the turning point of what could’ve been the worst or best trip — being stuck with a total stranger who later turned into a homie for life
Slide 16: me and my cameras managed to get out of the lagoon just fine
Slide 17: the most humbling place I’ve visited throughout all my travels
Slide 18: no, this photo is not photoshopped
Slide 19: bucket list destination I didn’t know I had. Our short time here made me feel like I was in a movie
Slide 20: the moment we arrived, Cody and I had the same idea. I ran to the top of the rock before the light disappeared and captured this beauty over sunset
I truly believe that God closes doors in order to open new ones. These photos are just small reminders to practice patience because His plan will always be bigger and better than mine 🤍
First time being a plant mom, kinda nervous 🌱
No but honestly it’s been so fun (and addicting) expanding our apartment with new plants — at this point, every other week 🥲
This is my first time propagating any plant so I was kinda nervous. But did I do it correctly?! 🪴🤔 #plantmom #propagatingplants
Day trip from LA to Solvang 🚐🇩🇰
We’ve been trying to do more California road trips, so we decided last minute to take a day trip to Solvang! Ever since we traveled to Copenhagen last year, I’ve been wanting to visit the Danish Capital of America 🥲
The drive from LA took us about 2.5 hours without stops, and from the moment we got there, I felt like I was transported back to Denmark.
Here’s everything we did with the limited time we had:
🐦 Started at Ostrichland. Admission is $7, and feeding the ostriches is an extra $1 — which you’ll definitely want to do. It was our first time seeing ostriches up close, and feeding them was so fun! @ostrich_land
🚶♀️ Explored downtown, took way too many photos of the windmills, and were in awe of all the Danish-style buildings and homes
🍛 Tried the sausage platter at Solvang Restaurant @solvangrestaurant
🥐 Picked up pastries at Danish Mill Bakery @danishmillbakery
🌶️ Shopped at Solvang Spice Merchant, where Andy had way too much fun choosing his favorite spices
🚋 Hopped on a trolley tour inside Hamlet Square with Linda, which ended up being one of the highlights of our trip
⛪ Caught golden hour at Mission Santa Inés overlooking the hills of Solvang
Other things to do in Solvang: grab coffee at Good Seed Coffee, visit “The Little Mermaid” Fountain, go wine tasting, check out a bookstore, walk around Hans Christian Andersen Park, or visit the Elverhøj Museum of History & Art.
Since we got to Solvang later in the afternoon, a lot of the stores were already closing. I’d recommend giving yourself a full day to explore — or even staying overnight at one of their boutique hotels to really experience the best of Solvang 🌾✨
Is Solvang on your California bucket list?! 🇩🇰

Reminiscing on my solo journey through Thailand ✨🇹🇭 Feels like yesterday when I was moving from city to city and saying yes to last minute adventures.
These are just a few memories from one of my favorite places I’ve ever solo traveled to. I think about going back often — should that be on the list this year? 🤔

Santa Barbara’s best viewpoint isn’t a rooftop bar or a hike… it’s a courthouse 🏛️🔔
Once you get to the courthouse, take the elevator (or the stairs 😅), and it’s free to the public! The views are so pretty and I felt like I was able to stay there through sunset. It was a nice end to our trip & has to be on your itinerary when planning a trip to Santa Barbara!

If you needed this reminder today, I did too 🤍 Not everything went as planned last week and I’ll be honest, it threw me off a bit. But I’m learning to stop forcing clarity and let it come on its own time (His time, really).
I’m on the very first West Coast sailing of Virgin Voyages’ Brilliant Lady out of LA and it’s giving everything I needed 🚢
Adults-only cruise, 20+ restaurants included, oceanfront workouts, JuiceSea smoothies, and a sunrise silent disco at sea (still not over that).
Safe to say… this is what the first 24 hours on a Virgin Voyages cruise actually looks like ☀️
