After my introductory speech at the AIA LI Archi Awards ceremony, I had to take a selfie with a room full of architects (170+) to keep a memory of this amazing moment in my life. Thank you life ⭐️⭐️⭐️ #aialongisland #archiawards #architecture #longisland
Last night the College Of Fellows presented the awards to the 2020, 2021 and 2022 Young Architect Award winners. It was a truly humbling moment to be in that room surrounded by so many amazing architects and AIA Fellows. Thank you Kelly Hayes McAlonie for inspiring, suppoting and pushing me to do this! And as usual, I had to take a selfie on stage 😂 #selfietime
When your selfies made to the @aia.international Conference, where people from more than a 100 countries registered!! Thank you Emily and Kim for a great keynote session about your career and leadership path, your work as architects and advocates, and your inspiring stories on how you got where you are. @egrfaia made my day by including in her presentation this selfie I took at the last WIA Brunch in AIA22 in Chicago ❤️🔥
Last month our outreach advisor Oksana Ramos, AIA, joined @wia.nyc 's "Built By Her: Stories of Remarkable Latinas in Architecture" event, to celebrated the launch of @arquitina Vol. 3 with coauthors traveling from across the country.
Moderated by Graciela Carrillo, FAIA, NOMA, NCARB, LEED AP BD+C the conversations support the organization's mission to go above and beyond the 1% of licensed Latina architects in the US while creating equitable and inclusive opportunities in the architecture profession.

Thank you AIA Peconic Women in Architecture committee Lori and Viola, for inviting me to participate in this panel discussion.
This was the culmination of celebrating Women’s History Month. It was a busy month for me for sure!
We watched two films highlighting the work and legacy of pioneering architect Beverly Willis. Unknown New York: The City That Women Built, written and directed by Willis, and The Architect Beverly Will : San Francisco and New York Years 1958–1995.
Love to see how AIA Peconic has advance their WIA committee! And thanks to the V 🖤 for the photos and for the shout out during the Q&A - my #1 supporter 😂
Grateful to the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, the Women in Design (WID) and Latin committees for hosting such a meaningful event and creating space for this important conversation.
A special thank you to Natasha Espada for the invitation, it was truly an honor to be part of this panel and to share the stage with incredible colleagues and friends: Yiselle Santos Rivera Hansy Better , Monique Lugo, and Natasha Espada.
We had an honest and inspiring conversation about our professional journeys, the challenges, the opportunities, and the responsibility we carry to open doors for others. Most importantly, we reflected on what advice we can offer the next generation of professionals as they navigate their own paths with purpose and confidence.
Moments like this remind me how powerful it is to come together, share our stories, and build community across generations. 💫
Honored and humbled to be invited into this safe space to share who I am.So much gratitude to Natasha Espada @studioenee and @latingsd for creating space @harvardgsd where we can show up fully—and for sharing it with colleagues who feel like family. @yisellestorytells@gracecol@hansybetter #SafeSpaces #Community #LatinxLeadership #Authenticity #influence @womenarch_aiapr
