11/18/25 out of fear of seeming too nonchalant, i think music is one of the most important parts of my life. it’s shaped how me and my brother grew up, it’s been with me through every loss, every love, every special and wonderful and painful moment of my life. it makes me cherish life—much like community, action, kindness, care, and radical optimism do. and those things intersecting fulfills me in ways i’m not sure i can fully explain in a way my soul can appreciate. they’re amorphously everything that i am. but something tangible was tonight. this was my second time seeing leith, and my first time getting to see olivia and annika (and tiny habits!). that room is where i want to be, that space. embued with the power to turn something sad into something beautiful…to share, and to take on together. i’m not very loud about this, but songwriting is so important to my heart. and everybody that i met today has nurtured that in different ways, and will continue to! a deep, heartfelt thank you to queer music, to radical hope, to the power of collective love. i am so happy to love and be loved. Last night was sooo 🌟❤️ Almost can’t believe that I got to be in the same room as some of my Asian acting idols growing up…experiencing this legendary film’s English premiere…and that I voice Crana in it. Not only do I get to be a part of something so special, but I’m blessed to do it with people that I absolutely love. This incredibly talented and kind cast, @a24 & CMC, (Michelle Yeoh!!!) and the amazing Iyuno team and our voice director Brook.
