The first Christmas in Cincinnati
I know Youngstown will always be there, but it feels wrong to say I’d like to “visit” rather than “go home”, but there is no “home”.
I’ve felt like a visitor for a long time. Places and things I knew have changed or gone away. Time has not been kind to the street I grew up on, but memory is a fickle thing.
I don’t think it ever was as I remember it
And now I’m just a visitor.
