2 Years 9 Months Sober From Liquor🥃❤️‍🩹 God saved my life , and I’m posting this to inspire my generation that battles with drinking problems and depression. It can be overcome when you give your life to God. If you know me personally, you know I was the life of the party getting sections or in sections every weekend and always had a bottle of Henny and we wasn’t leaving until it was all gone….🫠 Drinking was “fun,” but that fun turned into a road of destruction, and I didn’t realize it until it was too late in a lot of moments and situations. Fights, arrests, failed relationships — all because I wasn’t sober and kept making decisions in the moment. It even put me in a state of depression without me realizing it, because my escape felt normal — and that’s dangerous. The fun wasn’t worth my peace or my true happiness. It kept me from truly facing my problems and healing in the ways God needed me to🤞🏾 It was just an escape , a temporary fix that kept me from dealing with what I needed to face. Now, through God and therapy, I’ve gained clarity and learned how to heal in healthy ways. 🙏🏾 I don’t know who needs to hear this, but you can do it too. The breakthrough you’re praying for will come when you break that habit. Letter To Self ✍🏾 I’m proud of you King the foundation and empire you are building is something many can’t handle or do! Mr see the vision take risk and figure it out on the way! Mr don’t let anybody doubt your dreams and know how to turn your dreams and others dreams around you into a reality ! Showing people what walking by faith and keeping God at the center produces! They can’t duplicate what you’re doing if they tried to because it’s not on you it’s what’s in you! You don’t wait for anybody you don’t care about the opinions on others you don’t wait for approval when God gives you the vision you just GO! Your resilience your aura is something that can’t be denied . You think bigger than you that’s why the impact is beyond your understanding and God is opening doors you once prayed for. Keep walking bold in your calling keep giving God the praise through it all! Keep blocking out the people and things that don’t align with who and what God called you to do! 1st 7v7 season in the books ✅📚 These were a special group of young men, As we wrap up our first 7-on-7 season as an organization, I just want to take a moment to reflect and show appreciation to our coaches, athletes, and parents. For this being our first year, the compliments we received about our organization, the way we carried ourselves, and the way our athletes represented the brand spoke volumes. Everywhere we went, coaches, organizations, and referees constantly told us how well-organized we were and how respectful and disciplined our kids carried themselves on and off the field and that we looked like we have been an organization for years competing with other teams that have won multiple championships and doing it for 5+years 📈 This season was full of memories, lessons, growth, highlights, and experiences that made this journey special. When you talk about having a successful first year, it’s bigger than just wins and losses. It’s about development, growth, and building something meaningful. The progress our teams made from tournament to tournament was something special to witness. Going from struggling early, to winning games, to competing in multiple semifinals and championship games by the end of the season showed what happens when athletes buy in, trust the process, and continue to work. It proved that it’s not about how you start, it’s about how you finish, and success is truly a marathon, not a race. These athletes will forever be able to say they were the first to be a part of something special, something that we truly believe will become one of the biggest organizations around in the coming years. The commitment from our coaches, the sacrifices from our parents, and the support from everybody involved never went unnoticed. The love and support were seen and felt every step of the way, and for that, I’m beyond grateful for our first season and everybody who helped make it possible. Year 1 in the books.
