Lately, the most special thing in my closet isnât something new, itâs my dadâs vintage barong, a traditional Filipino đľđ shirt, once worn one way and nowâŚslightly reimagined by me (I cut the sleeves off đŤ˘). Iâd like to think itâs a collaboration across generations, he started it, I just added a little twist.
Itâs one of those pieces that feels like more than clothingâlike a quiet reminder of where I come from, stitched into something I get to carry with me. â¤ď¸
Took another quick trip to Round Top for the last weekend of the Spring show; wandering, treasure hunting and spending time with friends at @shopgomocita@maverick_revival and @rinky_dink_trading_post ! These day trips fly by way too fastâŚnext time, Iâm staying the night!
Day trip to Round Top! I got to visit @shopgomocita and some of the new items in the shop. Always a big fan of the racquet mirrors, but Iâm now obsessed with the surfboard fin incense holders handmade by @buenobrandi . And how funny is the vintage âHOOKERâ patch (@djsvintagefinds ). I had to have it! But really I spent more time eating and hanging with B than shopping â¤ď¸ . Haha!

I canât believe this boy is 15 already. It feels like just yesterday I was carrying him around everywhereâŚand now Iâm carrying my camera being his personal photographer đ. I truly miss those little-kid days, but Iâm so incredibly proud of the person heâs becoming and all the goals he keeps chasing. From my quick day trip to Round Top, TX two weekends ago. Beyond proud of my friends and what theyâve accomplished so far. Itâs the last day/weekend for the 2025 Fall Show and I so wish I could be there but vertigo is holding me back. Yâall go visit today and tomorrow (for some shops) at Round Top for even more deals since itâs the last weekend.
