Transitioning to a new camera often feels like learning a new language, but the first month with the Fujifilm xm5 has been a seamless addition to the rhythm - of course - it‘s a Fuji. The compact form factor mirrors the ease of my x100vi, while the tighter 50mm equivalent field of view from the 35mm f2 lens is pushing me toward a more intentional, minimalist perspective, yet still perfect for my everyday life use case of this camera. And so far, I love it! Even with a few hardware quirks (less recipe slots 😭, missing dials etc.), that fully articulating screen has opened up new angles that make the process feel fresh again.
