Some shoots you prepare for technically… others you prepare for mentally. Photographing Olympic medalist and champion rider @simondelestre with his incredible horse I AMELUSINA R51 at his stable in Solgne was definitely both. I’ll admit it — I arrived a little intimidated. Horses at this level are often described as powerful, nervous, unpredictable. But I couldn’t have been more wrong. I AMELUSINA R51 turned out to be one of the calmest, gentlest, and most patient horses I’ve ever met. Elegant, obedient, incredibly photogenic… and surprisingly affectionate too. And Simon? One of the most approachable and inspiring people to work with. Watching the trust and connection between rider and horse through the lens was something truly special. Even under difficult weather conditions, they made the entire shoot feel effortless. A true privilege to photograph this exceptional duo for MontreHeroes Magazine in collaboration with @hermes Hermès, alongside the always brilliant words of @aymericmantoux Some encounters simply remind you why you love this job #photography #storytellingphotography #olympicmedalist #parisphotographer #editorial @francois_tauriac @heroestyleoff

Another hotel room, another night spent somewhere in the French countryside. These anonymous places always seem to exist between nowhere and somewhere — lacking charm, style, or taste, and surprisingly often covered in red carpets. Functional, clean, and quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. Room 207. “Mountain view.” #hotelroomstories #parisphotographer #travelphotography #ontheroad #documentaryphotography

Some assignments stay with you long after the shoot is over. Photographing this pristine Ferrari 250 GT Lusso for @autoheroesofficiel with @alexandre.lazerges just outside Paris was definitely one of them. I completely fell in love with the design of this car. The Ferrari 250 GT Lusso captures a kind of timeless elegance that feels almost impossible to recreate today. It comes from an era when cars were designed with pure emotion and beauty in mind — long before perfection, screens, and comfort became the priority. And maybe that’s exactly why these machines still fascinate us so deeply today. Every curve, every reflection, every detail of this Lusso felt like a piece of automotive art, especially through the lens in black and white. Stripping away the colors made the lines, contrasts, and character of the car even more powerful and cinematic. A huge thank you to Jean-Claude, who was incredibly generous with his time and passion throughout the entire shoot. Working with people who truly love these cars always makes the experience even more special. Some cars are simply timeless. The Ferrari 250 GT Lusso is absolutely one of them. #ferrari #automotivephotographer #parisphotographer #carphotography #storytelling

A place no longer lived in. Abandoned. Left behind. Forgotten. There’s something fascinating about these spaces—where life once happened, and now time just… stopped. Objects remain, stories linger, and silence takes over. This house, lost in the countryside, holds traces of moments that will never return. And yet, it feels like it’s still waiting. #abandonedplaces #storytellingphotography #abandonedhouse #forgottenplaces #photography

Some shots from the other day cruising through the Swiss Alps with these incredibly capable Land Rovers. Epic views, a bit of off-road fun, and one of those sunsets that makes you stop and just take it all in. Perfect conditions to shoot, great vibes all around, and an assignment that didn’t feel like work at all. #landrover #parisphotographer #alps #automotivephotographer #storytellingphotography

An ongoing assignment documenting and photographing the creation of a recreational park in Bonneuil, on the outskirts of Paris, for @praxys.paysagiste.urbaniste It’s been great fun capturing portraits, as well as architectural and landscape images, and watching the park take shape over the weeks and months. On top of that, the workers are genuinely cool and fun—there are always plenty of laughs and jokes whenever I show up with the camera. #photography #documentaryphotography #landscapearchitecture #parisphotographer #workinprogress

Flashback to this incredible assignment in the French Alps, photographing the Rallye des Légendes Richard Mille. Set against a breathtaking alpine backdrop, capturing these rare cars felt more like a privilege than work. The images turned out so cool — even in black and white. #photography #automotive #storytelling #blackandwhite #outdoorphotographer

Some places don’t disappear — they just slowly fade. Peeling wallpaper, shadows of picture frames gone for a long time, a light that hasn’t been turned on in years, a forgotten knife left behind on a sink. There’s something unsettling, yet deeply human in these spaces — as if the past is still lingering, waiting to be noticed. Quiet, fragile, almost untouched. Not staged, not arranged. Just time doing its work. #Photography #storytelling #abandonedplaces #forgottenplaces #humanity

Photographing @claudelelouch 50 years after A Man and a Woman, at the Montlhéry circuit. The Mustang and the GT40, straight out of the film.
Cold, foggy weather — almost identical to back then, an atmosphere suspended in time. Very little time, but a real encounter: Claude, effortless, elegant, fully present. And then that rare moment — getting behind the wheel and driving on this iconic track, extending the story where it was once written. Somewhere between cinema, memory, and reality. Shot for @autoheroesofficiel with @alexandre.lazerges

The other day in Kinshasa.
My hotel room for one night in this crazy, busy, dirty and completely overwhelming city — full of life, noise, and pollution — before moving on to my final destination: Muanda. A quiet ocean village where I spent a week doing intense work. This trip is one I won’t forget anytime soon.
So many new things to photograph, so many first times — something that doesn’t happen often anymore in my work. I came home from this adventure with images I’m truly proud of, and with a client who appreciated exactly what I brought back. Thank you for the trust in my photography. It means a lot. #kinshasa #photography #democraticrepublicofcongo #documentaryphotographer #storytelling

An intense portrait session with some of the sharpest minds behind automotive design at Stellantis. I had the chance to photograph Gilles Vidal (Head of Design), Matthias Hossann (Peugeot), Thierry Mendoz (DS Automobiles) and Pierre Leclercq (Citroën) — a true powerhouse of creativity. What struck me most wasn’t just their talent, but their energy together: like a gang of old friends, relaxed, laughing, and genuinely enjoying the moment. Even Matthias — who (claims to) hate being in front of the camera — couldn’t escape the vibe. Thank you all for the trust, the openness, and the great atmosphere. Working with you was an absolute pleasure. #stellantis #peugeot #citröen #dsautomobiles #portraitphotography

Throwback to last summer shooting Fabien — a French cowboy with a true passion for horses, riding, and the cowboy lifestyle. And yes, his pickup is as cool as his sweet Harley. We shot this on a cowboy-style ranch just one hour outside of Paris — an amazing location where everything revolves around riding, western culture, and simply enjoying life. Such a fun day shooting there on a lovely spring afternoon for Kult Magazine. #portraitphotography #parisphotographer #cowboystyle #storytelling #passion
