This was Go Short Industry 2026! 🎬✨ 500 industry pros, 40+ workshops, special program lines like the second edition of the Producers Campus and more than 350 1:1 meetings! Van 7 t/m 12 april was het weer tijd voor @goshort : hét festival voor korte film. Zes dagen lang stond LUX in het teken van bijzondere korte films van over de hele wereld. IntoNijmegen was erbij en legde de sfeer vast. 🎬⁠ ⁠ Ervaring van redacteur Frank Homveld: ⁠ Als eerste filmblok bezocht ik woensdagavond “Late Night: Horror”. De zaal zat griezelig vol met voornamelijk buitenlandse bezoekers - ik hoorde alleen maar Engels praten om me heen - en vol verwachting werd door de aanwezigen uitgekeken naar de 5 korte films, zeker gezien de waarschuwing vooraf: “Als de zon ondergaat en er niemand meer is om je geschreeuw te horen, wordt de wereld een angstaanjagende plek. Deze korte films gaan helemaal op in alles wat duister, gevaarlijk en verontrustend is. Na veel verzoeken is onsLate Night: Horror-programma terug, maar het is niet geschikt voor mensen met zwakke zenuwen. Kijk als je durft. New interview! 🔊 With “Sounds from the Underground”, a programme by filmmaker, visual artist and curator Aileen Ye, cinema is tuned to a different wavelength. Over five films, Ye’s curation for Go Short turns listening itself into a radical gesture, exploring sound as a way to remember, resist and reach for freedom. New program! 📣 Image Acts: Aylin Kuryel & Fırat Yücel Image Acts is the name under which Amsterdam-based filmmakers duo Aylin Kuryel and Fırat Yücel bring together some of their work, produced both collectively and individually. Their work focuses on the position of dissidents, protestors, and unrepresented voices. Using a mixture of media forms, they reflect on the different ways that people speak up and raise their voice to claim back their space. A program curated by @goshort . An interview with the filmmaker duo, conducted by Jara Majerus, was published on Go Short and is also available on This Is Short. Subscriptions start at €0.99/month (or €9.99/year). It's been one week since Go Short 2026!! The biggest shout out of all goes out to all of the volunteers who helped out before, during and after the festival! Without all of the effort, care, laughter and hard work there would be no Go Short at all! We thank all of you who joined early or spontaneously from the bottom of our hearts and would love to see you again next year! ❤️

Niet één maar drie afterparties bij iconische Nijmeegse locaties waren dit jaar het eindtoneel van volle programmadagen! Donderdag een knusse naborrel bij @paraplufabrieken Op vrijdag d heetste hits en bijpassende gerechten bij Wat De Pop Schaft in @cafedeplak En op zaterdag een laatste feeat die eindigde in de kleine uurtjes samen met @all_breaks_allowed in @dewitteraafnijmegen Laten we samen nog even teruggaan naar het afterparty gevoel met deze plaatjes!
