The more I do this as a job, the more I am in danger of endlessly repeating myself. Which is why I started giving myself simple challenges. Here’s some images that directly resulted from me purposefully breaking my habits:
- find an interesting texture
- find a reflection
- a portrait without space to move or prep time (that one’s on me)
- shoot from public access
- make the car super small
I have loads more that I can rely on. How do you guys keep switching it up on longer days?

Ten-year old me loved these. Turns out he‘s absolutely spot on and they‘re still a riot. It‘s even the very same car appearing in the video from that The Rasmus video that made me spend a month of allowance on their Maxi CD. Now I just need that Thunderbird from the cover of "All the right reasons".

This season of the @mastershistoricracing Racing Legends is a blast. Having a full grid of Cosworth DFVs barrel down towards me is quite the experience, and I have been quite surprised by the intensity of the racing in it. Massive props for the team for all their podiums this season!
I‘ve been thinking, lately. And I could kind of use some insights from all of you digital creators I know: Do you think of yourself as an artist, or do you rather see yourself as more of a service provider, or anything else?
All the visitors left. The Ferraris stayed uncovered just long enough for @sw_photographx and me to catch them in the last moments of sunlight.

Early spring at Magny-Cours. Cold air, warm sun. New routines, old obsessions. Grateful for good light, fast cars, and even faster people. Test days hit different when the work feels like play.
