Some changes are coming to the Latin hustle format at Motivo! the month of may is our intro series and an open level class afterwards, with an included session with instruction (if you want to do session without class, it's just 10$!). June will change to one 45min open level class and session.
Open level classes will now be themed to be useful to beginners and intermediates learning Hustle!

A snippy from our Hustle showcase at @fusionvibedance ! @pangolinpops and I rarely get to dance together these days, so Im already thankful for that. Fusion is also where I started Hustle dancing socially, so this felt like a full circle moment for us to bring hustle back into this scene.

Are you looking for another Hustle in LA, but want something different? Do you want to want to learn a fun partner dance you can do at parties? Do you like Disco, House & R&B music? Then look no further.
Starting in May at Motivo, i'll be teaching a 4-part series to get you started dancing Latin Hustle, the most fun partner dance in the whole world!
This course will be covering the basics of Latin Hustle, including count structure, footwork, connection, beginner turns and movements. We will also discuss the interesting evolution and culture of this unique dance from the 1970's.

The 'Queen Bee of Hustle' Diane k. Nardone is coming to the West Coast to share a very special Hustle class!
Tuesday - April 28th / Intermediate Hustle Workshop 8-9:30pm / 9:30-11:30pm social / @ Motivo LA!
This class challenges the common perception of Hustle as a strictly linear or slotted dance. We’ll explore Hustle through a circular concept, focusing on rotational movement, spatial awareness, and how partners travel around each other rather than staying confined to a straight line. By shifting the perspective from slot to circle, dancers will discover new pathways, fluidity, and freedom within the dance.
About Diane:
Diane K. Nardone, widely known as the “Queen Bee of Hustle,” is a legendary dancer, instructor, and community leader whose career spans more than five decades. A native of Brooklyn, New York, Diane began dancing Hustle in the early 1970s during the dance’s formative years and was involved in the iconic film Saturday Night Fever, which helped propel Hustle into mainstream culture. Renowned for her ability to both lead and follow, Diane has played a pivotal role in shaping generations of dancers and has trained many respected professionals in the Hustle community.
From 2000 to 2011, Diane served as Event Director for the World Hustle Dance Championships, helping create a global platform that united the international Hustle dance community. Her influence as an educator has extended through teaching at countless events worldwide.
In recognition of her lifelong contributions to the dance world, Diane was honored with the prestigious Arte Phillips Lifetime Achievement Award. Despite her many accomplishments, she remains deeply connected to her roots, continuing to teach and share her knowledge with dancers in her local community. Diane dedicates her lifelong dance journey to her son, Christopher, and continues to inspire dancers worldwide with her passion, expertise, and commitment to the art of Hustle.
