I've had the honor of playing various events with Ian Cowell's Exceptional Goblins, Xander Plute, and Wario Speedwagon! I've had so many cool opportunities with the Biggoron project over the last few years, and creating the Goronsemble with my closest friends has been a dream come true. Watching this set come together has been a magical experience, and we are truly proud of what we've created.

Kev gets around, and you've seen him throwing down mad beats and arranging with groups like Close to Good, Marshall Art, Super Strikers, Ian Cowell's Exceptional Goblins, and so many more! He even got to record for Lena Raine's Chicory: A Colorful Tale OST! You can also catch Kev playing bass in his Philadelpia outfit, @doinktheband !

SHOCK! Joe Newman @newmajoe will be handling sax/EWI/melodica/etc for the Goronsemble at VGM CON!
Experienced video game lawyer by day, Joe has been performing and composing video game jams for over a decade. He's been a featured collaborator in well-loved acts including Super Strikers, Kirby's Dream Band, Super Soul Bros, The Tiberian Sons, and more! He currently runs the Bay Area VGM Jazz Jam with his house band Ultra Combo!
In addition to covers, Joe's been composing original music for the MAGFest Swadge unit games, including the full soundtrack for Mega Pulse EX earlier this year!

An electrical engineer by day, Jeff brings his technical and coding expertise into the creative realm by exploiting modern and obsolete electronics alike to harness powerful, expressive, and dynamic visuals. In addition to being a founding member of VGM and chiptune collective Marshall Art, he's provided visuals for VGM/chiptune artists including Super Strikers, Close to Good, Shirobon, and more.
Despite being no stranger to the scene, this is Jeff's first VGM Con, so come say hello!!
Our next lineup announcement is the amazing Sam Schwartz @strongzensam on guitar! By day he is a dad/music teacher/massage therapist but by night he is an absolute SHREDDER, lending his talents to a wide variety of acts and demonstrating mastery in rock, country, jazz, blues, and more!
In addition to charting for Ubisoft's Rocksmith+ for nearly a decade, Sam has performed with metal, bluegrass, hip hop, and gospel acts up and down the West coast. He truly knows how to bring the soul to any jam!
Its a pleasure to have this gorgeous man on board, and we can't wait to set him loose on the VGM CON Hero Stage in only THREE WEEKS!
For our next VGM CON lineup announcement, we're thrilled to share that Travis Kindred @ulovetravis will be handling bass duties for the Goronsemble set!
You may have been fortunate enough to catch Travis on the Magfest main stage in January with Rebecca Sugar's Lonely Magic Tour! In addition to working on video games, he's previously worked on the Steven Universe Movie/Future series and recorded for two The Dear Hunter albums as a part of the Awesome Orchestra!
We are SO stoked to share the stage with this beautiful soul!
