LUSCINIA (2025) out now! ✦ LUSCINIA is an audiovisual performance created by visual artist Olesya Vashchenko @stololesya and composer Simona Markevich @simulya__kr The piece explores the human capacity to engage in dialogue with nature, attempting to recreate its fragile harmony through sound, light, and space. Inspired by biomimicry principles, LUSCINIA unfolds like a living ecosystem, where each element transforms and responds to the other. Alongside the 40-minute live premiere at Praktika Theatre @praktika_friends (April 2025), a short version was created as a standalone videoart piece. This 6-minute format required a complete reimagining of the musical structure and intricate editing work, blending cinematic language with the raw energy of a live performance.
