Another massive year of growth for us with lots of exciting projects underway and about to kick off. Here’s a quick overview of our current Gold Coast Projects taken a few weeks ago and already these projects have advanced significantly since taken this video. Super proud of the GCP team and what we are creating for our clients.

We are excited to start OMB Lawyers head office high end fitout in Southport in a couple of weeks. OMB have the two top floors which will showcase a modern industrial feel with great views to the boardwater. Looking forward to delivering another successful project with Matt Grbcic and his team at MG Group Project Management

Excited to Share that GCP has won the office fitout of the Master Builders Gold Coast Office. We joined master builders Qld before we even had our first project for GCP and we have been proud members ever since. MBQ have assisted our business grow and navigate through all the changes and challenges a construction company faces on a daily basis so I am very excited to create an amazing space for the GC office and humbled that Master Builders Queensland have chosen us to complete the project. Thank you MBQ, we can’t wait to start next week!

Works progressing nicely on our 6 apartment plus carers unit SDA (special disability accommodation) project in Bundall. GCP was engaged to managed the entire design process to building approval, we then removed the existing house late last year and started construction early January. Our target handover is late August and we will be close even with all the labour/material shortages and significant rain delays. This SDA compliant development is a waterfront block of land and the client has invested in upgrading the finishes to make it a high end SDA offering. X Galaxy in the heart of Surfers Paradise, approx 4000m2 of commercial space and GCP are engaged to complete the base building design, certification and the base building construction works at this stage to upgrade this site into 3 new venues plus an office/amenities and lobby upgrades. This place is massive and the new tenancies coming into it will be nothing like the GC has seen before. Watch this space!

We have recently completed a Brand New Wedding Reception Centre at Braeside Estate on the Gold Coast. Thanks to our amazing contractors who in this challenging market were able to really step up and deliver this high quality project within very tight timeframes. We were awarded this project late January and completed this project within 4 months including demolition of existing structure. GCP completed Ithaca Creek State School Pool Amenities Project in September 2021. It is challenging to carry the work in live school environment. We have recently completed a 12 month refurbishment of the Sorrento Village Shopping Centre. Works consisted of a facade upgrade, new signage, 600m2 flyover the courtyard, new amenities, upgrade the carpark, new dining areas and landscaping. The project was by far the most challenging to date being a live environment, managing the public and tenants during the works, main road frontage, restricted access and constructing a new facade on an original building. Then add in covid, material delays, labour shortages and unprecedented price increases throughout the project. We are very proud to of completed this within the 12 months and manage our way through all these challenges whilst maintaining a very positive relationship with our client and consultant team. Huge effort and appreciation from the GCP team including all our suppliers and contractors. Special thanks to our GCP Project Manager Paul Barnett who went above and beyond and then some to deliver this project. Goris Co Projects and Kai Konstruct held a Golf Day event to support Canteen Australia. Canteen has been supporting young Australians 12 – 25 living with cancer for over 30 years. Canteen supports young people who are dealing with their own, a parent or a sibling’s diagnosis, or have lost a loved one to cancer. They provides free counselling services, life changing peer support and specialized services for these young Australians. Thanks to all Sponsor and everyone involved. GCP’s Victorian team have been growing consistently over the last couple of years with completing 6 x Fantastic Furniture Stores, 2 x OMF Stores as well as completing around 15+ NDIS home and office upgrades for our national clients. Our latest project completed is a showroom for a new Ashley Furniture Store in Pakenham. Our team of Contractors in Vic, led by Leigh continue to delivery high quality projects on time, every time.
