may the 4th be with you šŸš€āœØ in our documentary Have a Good Trip (2020), Carrie Fisher—forever our princess and truth-teller—grounds the film’s wild, cosmic journey with her signature wit and honesty. between animated trips and outrageous stories, she cuts straight to the heart of it: the mind as its own galaxy, equal parts chaos, humor, and revelation. today we celebrate the force… and the fearless ones who explore it within 🌌 source: have a good trip (2020, Netflix) directed by @donickcary (the simpsons) produced by @mikerosenstein (@thenapaboys ) for @sunsetrosepics @goodtrip sign up for emails about the sequel:

Six years ago today, ā€œHave a Good Tripā€ premiered on Netflix šŸ„ and became #1 worldwide At the time, these stories and conversations around healing still felt pretty underground. Since then, we’ve watched the world open up in a massive way — with more research, more honesty, more compassion, and real conversations around psychedelic therapy, mental health, trauma, addiction, and healing. What started as a documentary full of wild stories, laughter, and exploration became part of a much bigger cultural shift. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who shared stories or connected with the film and helped move the conversation forward. And now, six years later, we’re excited to say the journey continues. A sequel is in the works. More stories. More honesty. More healing. Have a good trip ✨ Comment ā€œšŸ„ā€ if you want to know how you can help with the sequel. happy 80th bday @billkreutzmann ā¤ļøāš”ļø a true pioneer of cosmic exploration through rhythm and improvisation, Bill helped shape the Grateful Dead into something bigger than a band — a ā€œlong strange tripā€ of music, community, and endless experimentation. we were honored to feature him in Have a Good Trip on netflix, where he shared a piece of that journey… and of course his contagious laughter. thank you @billkreutzmann and @gratefuldead for 60 years of good trips and here’s to 300+ more! source: have a good trip (2020, netflix) directed by @donickcary produced by @mikerosenstein music by @therealylt

May the 4th be with you—and with Brian the cat šŸ±šŸ‘½ In a Vice profile, Star Wars animator Phil Tippett described an LSD experience during the production of Return of the Jedi: ā€œI crawled into this cupboard with Brian the cat and we went to the center of the Earth for like three billion years.ā€ Tap the link in our bio to watch the full feature, ā€œMy Life In Monsters: Meet the Animator Behind Star Wars and Jurassic Park.ā€

if you’re tripping right now (or epileptic) I can neither reccomend or advise you not to watch this 1992 interview with high priest of L$D Timothy Leary, so enter at your own risk šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«šŸ˜… I wish I could’ve gone to a West Hollywood trance state electronic brain party :( šŸ“¼ YouTube Alan Eichler ā–«ļøinterviewer Skip E.
