Fixing the digital divide for good takes more than one organisation - it takes collaboration, leadership, and real systemic change.
Over the last three years, we’ve made big strides to influence the systems, partnerships and decisions shaping digital inclusion across the UK - turning ambition into real impact for people and communities.
Because lasting change happens when we work together.
Over the last three years, we’ve made someone digitally equal every minute.
We’ve reached 1.7 million people -helping them build digital skills, access devices and connectivity, and get online safely with confidence. That’s 1.7 million more opportunities to connect, learn, work and participate in our digital society.
Our Impact Review 2022–2025 is out now, and we’re incredibly proud of what’s been achieved with our partners and community organisations in the National Digital Inclusion Network. It’s been a transformative few years for digital inclusion.

At Good Things, we power life-changing digital inclusion initiatives.
Working hand-in-hand with our amazing network of community organisations and partners, we help people get the devices, data, and skills they need, to ensure everyone can participate in a digital society.
According to our research, food costs are 50% higher without internet access.
Those that are digitally excluded are facing more challenges than just being offline, no data and no device means it’s harder to shop around and find discounts.
Lost without a phone? Imagine you don't have one.
🗺️ Whether it’s finding a job interview, navigating to a GP appointment, or just getting around town — so much of daily life relies on having a phone with maps and data. But for many, digital exclusion means that even something as simple as directions is out of reach. Everyone deserves the tools to take part in modern life — and that starts with digital access.
A few weeks ago, we gathered voices from across sectors for our Listening, Leading, and Looking Ahead event. The goal was simple yet ambitious: to tackle the most pressing digital challenges of our time. Today, we are thrilled to share the formal outputs and key takeaways from those vital discussions.
We explored the landscape of Skills & Employability, the urgency of addressing Data Poverty & Financial Inclusion, and the critical need for Online Safety & Media Literacy. Our sessions also dove deep into the ethics of AI & Emerging Tech and the essential redesign of Public Services to ensure they work for everyone.
As our CEO, Vicki Sellick MBE, highlighted during the event:
"Digital inclusion is everyone's responsibility... [tackling digital challenges] will only come when we combine the insights, skills and resources of many. This event began to surface what is possible when we come together across sectors and geographies to imagine a new future. Now the challenge is to turn words into action, together."

Online communities are growing but not everyone has access to connect. “Just join the group chat.” isn’t always possible if you don’t have a smartphone, or the app, or even know it exists.
Being logged out leads to being left out.
