Finished with @procoat UnoCoat Hardwax Uroil. Two-component, urethane-modified penetrating oil. Low VOC, made in the USA. It crosslinks in the fiber instead of building film, leaves a matte, natural surface.

Pulled carpet and found 50+ years of rubber pad absolutely caked onto 1.5” red and white oak. Staples, nails, stairs, floor repairs, leveling, and a new tile entryway cut in and installed flush with the hardwood—earned every square foot of this before/after. Finished with @procoat system.

Honestly, this one was just fun to build. Super clean geometry coupled with hand-scraped edges and a wire-brushed texture so it doesn’t feel stiff. Lots of moving parts—and somehow it all came together just right.
