As outdoor activity season picks up, your body starts asking for different things 🌿
More rotation, more power, more mobility, and more stability.
Golf, tennis, pickleball, and other seasonal activities can place extra demand on the shoulders, hips, and core, especially if those movement patterns haven’t been used consistently in a while.
Pilates helps support the body through all of it by improving mobility, building strength through the stabilizing muscles, and creating more control through movement ✨
So you can move through the season feeling stronger, more balanced, and ready to keep doing the things you love 💜

Instructor’s Favourite Prop: The Foam Roller ✨
Destinie loves the foam roller for the way it builds shoulder stability from the ground up.
By gliding the forearm along the roller and returning, the movement challenges control through the shoulder while subtly firing up the core and serratus anterior, key muscles for strong, supported upper body movement.
Think of it as bird dog… elevated.
The instability of the roller asks the body to resist shifting, creating deeper connection and control with every repetition.
Give it a go, and let me know what you think!
Happy Pilates Day! 🎉✨
Today we celebrate the method that does it all : strengthens, lengthens, challenges, and transforms the way we move and live. 💪
Rooted in the principles of Contrology:

Pilates isn’t just a workout, it’s a practice that builds powerful, resilient bodies from the inside out.
To our incredible community: thank you for showing up, putting in the work, and moving with intention every single day. 💛

Today we’re celebrating the movement and the community that make this practice what it is.
From slower, more intentional mat work to dynamic reformer sessions, Pilates helps build strength, improve mobility, and deepen awareness of the body over time. It’s a way to move with purpose, stay present, and carry that sense of control beyond the studio.
And just as important is the community that grows around it. The familiar faces, the shared experience, and the consistency of showing up together are what make it meaningful.
From your first class to years into your practice, you’re part of something that continues to evolve with every session.
Here’s to moving together and continuing to build something special ✨

Strength and support for every stage of life 🤍
A strong, stable core plays an important role in how we move, feel, and navigate daily life. It supports posture, balance, and overall ease of movement, helping you stay confident and connected in your body.
Pilates offers a thoughtful approach to building that strength, focusing on control, alignment, and movement that feels supportive rather than forced.
It’s not about pushing harder, it’s about moving in a way that allows your body to feel more capable over time.
Wherever you’re starting from, there’s space to build strength, improve balance, and move with more ease and confidence ✨

Hands in straps, feet in straps… what’s really happening? ✨
Strap work on the reformer adds both support and resistance, allowing you to move with more control and precision through each exercise.
With hands in straps, the upper body and core work together to stabilize while moving through space. This can help build strength through the shoulders, improve posture, and challenge coordination.
Feet in straps often shift the focus to the lower body, helping to improve hip mobility, strengthen the legs, and encourage better alignment through the pelvis.
Because each strap moves independently, it also brings awareness to any imbalances and helps you build more control side to side.
