Amsterdam - We have moved! It's time for the annual Houseplants Koningsdag Knees Up, and we are back this year with a double-header. Kicking off the festivities at cafe40 on Kingsnight, we'll be playing sweet music all evening. For the day itself - they can try to stop the party, but our roots run too deep! To sidestep the new rules and regulations we have moved to our friends at PSA - Jacob Van Lennepkade 307. Same system, same vibes, same free-flowing refreshments courtesy of Good Beans. Aleksandra Bolhova is an artist born in the Ukraine, currently based in Amsterdam, where she relocated after the war began.
Her practice has been shaped by personal displacement and the observation of people in moments of transition. She is drawn to human presence - movement, small gestures and the way that bodies exist in space.
Working closely with colour, her pallet choices intentionally convey emotion and atmosphere.
She draws most influence from lived experience
and the people around her.
Sasha’s paintings explore the relationship between body, space, feeling and holding moments
of connection.

As the snow fell in Amsterdam this weekend, we released our coldest damn special edition ever, from the legendary Gonzalo Castillo.
