Sand & Subs is 100% community-powered, and as we grow, we’re looking for more people to help with the behind the scenes operations. We’re creating a new Support squad with two departments.
The Sand Squad (Logistics) You’re the backbone of the festival. You handle site flow, parking, and the “Leave No Trace” mission. If you’re a problem-solver who doesn’t mind getting your hands dirty to keep the camp organized and safe, we need you.
The Subs Squad (Tech) You’re the show. You’re on the tools—building the stage, running cables, and keeping the rig humming. If you know your way around an impact driver, can lift stage panels, have experience with DMX lighting, or general stage design, this is your squad.
WHAT ARE THE PERKS? 1. Be part of the crew that arrives first and get’s the spot ready for the festival. 2. Laid back atmosphere with music while collaboratively building the site together. 3. First pick at campsites (pick a nice shaded spot). 4. Dinner provided on Setup Day (typically on Thursday for a two day, Friday - Sunday festival). 5. Merch given to the support squad for their contributions.

Still in awe and daydreaming about our weekend at Wobble Wash 🪩🌵✨ Such a unique experience with so many talented DJs. Feeling so honored to have been part of it and proud of all the hard work that went into making this event happen. Thank you to everyone who came out! We loved meeting you all. Now that I have had time to process all the magic that happened this weekend. I just want to say thank you to @sandandsubs@good_stuff_records@camp.bloom.coffee@luupymusic for creating such a magical experience this weekend.
So many great memories were made with such incredible human beings. The artist themselves killed it as always and I honestly left with some new favorite artist. I still can’t feel my feet from all the dancing I did or my face from all the smiling and laughing. If you have ever wanted to experience a camp renegade this is the group to do it with.
Can’t wait for the next one and to see my favorite people again. 💕✨🏜️

Novella is an LA-based DJ crafting high-energy sets that tell a story—one drop at a time. From the first strobe flicker to the final bassline, her sound unfolds like a telenovela: full of tension, twists, and emotions cranked to the max. She just playing direct support for Dimension in December at Exchange LA.
She first discovered drum and bass in 2019, deep in the UK’s underground rave scene, where sweat, history, and pummeling sub-bass rewired her ears for life.
Her style is a love letter to that culture: a blend of ferocious neurofunk, roaring dancefloor and jump-up tunes, timeless anthems, and stripped-back minimal and techstep selections.
