Okay, I’m fully on board with with ribbon trend. I resisted it for a while but it’s just too cute, and a little bit sxc ya know? Like fancy underpants hehe! Flavours inspired by @_peacheslacreme__ (the flavour G.O.A.T imo) : vanilla sponge, lemon curd, fresh raspberries and SALTED vanilla cream (try it, seriously it will change your life).

Wedding season kicked off in a big way this weekend gone, with two beautiful events in and out of town. Friday saw me taking this two tiered chocolate sour cream sheet cake to the enchanting La Trobe Reading Room at the State Library of Victoria. It’s an impressive room - when I walked in I couldn’t help but say “Oh wow!” out loud!

Small but mighty - a mini tiered vegan coconut and passionfruit cake in a minimal modern design, drawing on fresh flowers to make a sculptural statement.
It’s official! Take-home tasting boxes will be available this July 4th. Pick up is from Blackburn. Boxes will feature six flavours, and open to anyone, not just lovebirds planning their nuptials.

A little birthday cake for my darling @dangerlena . I don’t have Biscoff and lemon curd together on my menu yet, but after making this cake I definitely need to add it. Swirls of spiced cookie spread and tangy vegan lemon curd filling a lemon zest and fennel pollen sponge, covered in vegan Italian meringue buttercream, enjoyed in the autumn afternoon sun in my backyard, surrounded my friends. Yeah yum!
Adding columns adds not only height, but elegance and show-stopping drama. Here, columns separate an 8” and 6” base from a 6” and 4” top for Thai and Sheena’s wedding at the impressive Campbell Point House on the Bellarine Penisula.
