Been a rough week, first day at north star I overshot the first jump by a mile, dropped about 70 ft to flat causing a compression fracture in my L1 vertebrae. So upset to have my season cut so short, there was still so much I wanted to do and it’s been hard to let that go. That’s just how it goes sometimes, luckily I have a loving family who took amazing care of me as well as my nurses. I’m headed back home today to start my healing process and I am ready to begin this new challenge in my life. Snowboarding is my life, without this surgery I wouldn’t have been able to snowboard ever again. Thank you so much to my coaches @brandonsorel and @coachstewball for looking after me, couldn’t be more blessed. Stay safe, and always check the speed of a jump before you hit it.
