I trained for years before realizing this.
Strength alone wasn’t making me faster.
Adding explosive work changed that.
Learned a lot from @fit_for_golf
First Stack session after 2 weeks off.
Easy to want to jump right back into max speed…
but building back into it is how you stay consistent (and avoid injury).
Speed training is a marathon, not a sprint.
Day 16 of daily speed work chasing 140 mph of club head speed.
These swings were after walking 18 so my legs were not fresh.
Good to see my speed can hold up even when fatigued.
A lot of work to do on my swing to get this speed to translate to the course…
Fastest club head speed I have gotten onto a ball!!
Just looking at my swing I know I can squeeze a few more mph out and I will keep pushing my training to get to 140!
