One of my dream trips is visiting Japan, but as I can't afford it for now, I use it as my main inspiration for this new artwork, drawn by Inari - the Japanese fox goddess 🦊⛩️ Embossed by hand in golden aluminium foil, on a velvet navy blue paper, and framed in a second-hand frame (trust me, kringloop shops are so underrated!) Hope you'll enjoy it as I did while making it 💜 It will be on sale for my upcoming Christmas market in December, so stay tuned 🌸

✨ New work! ✨ Here’s what I designed for @thesocialhub.amsterdam part of @thesocialhub and @tonyschocolonely_nl for their B-Corp dinner event! 🍫🌍 In celebration of B-Corp Month, they hosted "Food for Thought" : a unique five-course chocolate-infused dinner experience. Each dish crafted by local chefs brings the story of Tony’s cacao origins to your plate. Inspired by their theme, "Raising the bar for a better society, one bite at a time," I created this fun dude riding a space rocket in the shape of Earth - symbolizing a bold, positive future! 🚀💫 I kept The Social Hub’s brand colors & identity while adding my signature touch of playfulness and optimism! Even if I didn’t design the posters & menus, it was exciting to see my work adapted across different materials for the event. An Ode to Bar Bario - The Final Exhibition this Thursday 4-9PM After 4.5 years, with over 600 events and 65 exhibitions created for and by our Queer, Trans and BIPOC community, this physical space is closing. This is the final exhibition at Bar Bario, an ode to what the space has meant to the community it was created to serve - as a safer space, a living room, and a creative hub. All the works in this exhibition are created by people who have worked at Bar Bario, are part of its community, or have contributed to the space in meaningful ways. The exhibition centers themes of belonging, feeling at home and finding community. It has been shaped by the people who have passed through Bario, those who have contributed to it, worked within it, and helped define its atmosphere and values. It brings together a diverse range of artistic mediums, including illustration, lighting, photography, oil painting, and scent-based work. The works revolve around what Bar Bario has meant to each artist as a community space, while also offering broader reflections on community and the feeling of home. Alongside the exhibition opening, we will host a farewell Arts & Crafts Community Market, celebrating the artists who have shaped this space over the years, whether through organizing events, participating in exhibitions, or contributing in other meaningful ways. The market will feature a variety of art pieces, prints, delicious food, and even live tattooing. THIS THURSDAY 4-9PM - The second to last day of Bar Bario 😔

This artwork is quite different from what I usually make. Swipe to read the whole story and see the creative process I haven't shared it so much, but the last months were quite difficult for me on a personal side. December 2025, I realized that me and the person I was dated didn't have the same level of expectations. January 2026, we stopped talking to each other. Suddenly. Out of nowhere. This breakup made me devastated. I felt submerged in my sadness. But I felt guilty that, despite all the worst situations I've faced, the one who litterally crumbled me was a story with a guy... while the world is destroyed by wars, by illness, by climate change.. I didn't feel legitimate to be sad. This was the starting point of "The weight of grieving". Because yes, it's painful, it's difficult, each memory of him is a sting in the heart.. but it's the normal process of the grieving. I try to allow myself to feel, to cry. To embrace my emotions. Because it's a human feeling. Otherwise, if we don't allow ourselves to feel these, what are we? I'm maybe a failure in romantic love, but at least I'm grateful for my family, my friends, and everyone who know about this situation and support me so far. And this won't stop me to make art and music 🌸 For those who are also facing a similar situation, a breakup, a loss.. You're not alone in this. I hear you. I feel you. After the storm, the sun always shines 💜 Yes the title of my art is a little nod to the song "The weight of missing" by @auroramusic 🦋 . ⚠️ Don't get me wrong, I don't mean in this post to be the victim and the person to be the "bad one". I won't talk too much in detail because it's very personal. But I still respect and value this person a lot. Out of respect for our story, I believe that we can be grateful, respectful for each other and say "good bye" without hate or anger. #vulnerability #arttherapy #healingjourney
