It's our non gendered boi's birthday. Not the first one he's spent in county, but hopefully the last. We've included a message they sent out to post after their first week via crop circles and pigeons taught interpretive dance. They're hanging in there mostly, but today will be hard to be away from their family and friends.

This weekend was full of gratitude and community. It really left us with no regrets as we enter into a less than ideal chapter. Thank you to @eastlubbockarthouse for having us play the opening reception of the fantastic @sthackercregg 's exhibit. Thank you to @mctrashkingart for the badass art you drew of us while we played, we're beyond geeked about it. Thank you to @polliiwog.tx@sundowning.emo and no dude, who played their first performance with us Saturday night. I know those summer shows are a little quieter, but the vibes were absolutely on so a huge thank you to everyone who came out as well. And again, thank you to Trevor Jennings for mixing I Need Money for us, which after much demand, is available for streaming everywhere. We are incredibly proud of it.
Y'all might catch Ambi and NastyNate around, strumming a few tunes while Meadow is away so keep an eye out for that. But the three piece is getting put away for now. Go Johnson never stays gone for long though so don't forget about us in the meantime. We're coming back to you as soon as we can. Say goodbye, wish us well, or let us know what you think of the new track. We'll be thinking about y'all 🪕
My first punk show was at the home of @frankovile , I was welcomed warmly and @cherrycynical kept me company the whole time and did everything she could to ease my anxiety. Now I play in a band of my own and we host shows too. I’m happy to be making the music I love with the best friends I have

We joked at the last show that we're like if a perpetually going out of business store was a band, but we just keep ending up with more time and second (third, fourth...) chances. So we've got a double feature for y'all this weekend as we ride out the last of the time we have left with Meadow (for now).
Friday we're playing the opening reception of the new @eastlubbockarthouse exhibit, "Victory at Home: The Educational Front" by Shannon Thacker Cregg. Totally free and everyone's welcome to check out some art and support your local community space.
Saturday we've got another backyard show for you this time with @polliiwog.tx , @sundowning.emo , and surprise addition No Dude. It says music at 8, but @like_a_field might kick us off a little early with a solo set. $5, BYOB, 7pm at 2313 27th St.
And since y'all have been asking, if we see enough of you at the show Saturday, we will go ahead and release I NEED MONEY early so come through.
