9 Month Late, Long Overdue ABQ Post 🛣️🏜️😳 First and foremost, the biggest of thank you’s for Black Wall Art Gallery, Mommy Milkers and Titans Of Industry for everything. Y’all are the kindest folk that we could’ve ever possibly asked to hang with us in the 505 in our first out of state venture. 🎉🥳🍾 The trek began in the late afternoon of August 15th, lasting until the wee-early morning of the 18th, we were in tourist mode checking out all the things that make New Mexico absolutely out of this world. 🛸 Our intenerary included (but was not limited to): car rental drama, scaling rocks at Texas Canyon, misplacing my debit card, custom car pulloffs and gas stations for photo opportunities, planespotting at ABQ, morning smokes and the fitness center, a Saver’s trip, a life-changing Guitar Center ABQ visit where Shane turned into a vampire??? (slide 6), after holding a VINTAGE Gretsch Malcolm Young Signature MIK @acdc ⚡️, playing an enchanting show, running red lights, chewing through 2 (?) rentals, and meeting locals with the most kindly and polite impressions about them! 💞 On our day of homecoming, exploring Breaking Bad filming locations, getting pulled over after being on the road for almost 2 hrs, trekking to White Sands through dust storms and finally speed running the rest of “goggles out of state simulator” in the evening time to be met with monsoon storms in Wilcox that floated us back home! 😵‍💫 Amphibious, Chronic, Dangerous, Electrified, Feral and Dusty, we made it home to Tucson as a happy army 🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸 Thank you to Black Wall, Mommy Milkers and TOI for hosting, the opportunity and the hospitality, thank you for inviting us out!! Thank you for including us in the TOI Nation Tour, the positivity, good times, connections and interactions that will be remembered for as long as we live! WHO IN THE GOGGLE?!? Goggles is an alternative garage punk band from Tucson, AZ, influenced heavily by bands like AC/DC, Black Sabbath/Ozzy, Nirvana, Green Day, and many more. “goggles” was officially established in July 2019 when playing with The Regrettes at Tucson’s 191 Toole. As of November 2026 we’ve been performing in the Southwest for TEN YEARS.
