FOREFRONT was founded to confront the deep needs present starting in rural India. Through the implementation of the first few wells, a greater truth was revealed. It became clear that change was needed beyond clean water access… it was needed across other areas of life we often take for granted. Despite our wells providing clean water, children still didn’t have a school to attend, individuals didn’t have the resources or knowledge to lead healthy lives, and communities were stuck in a cycle of generational poverty with limited or no opportunities to pursue a better future for themselves or their children. This is why FOREFRONT developed our four-pillar approach: Clean Water, Accessible Medical Care, Quality Education, and Empowerment Opportunities. With a new decade comes many firsts! We are proud to announce the completion of our first Diabetes Awareness Workshop of 2026 and the new decade. This workshop was held in the village of Kunchavaram, with 80 community members in attendance. Participants learned about healthy daily habits, especially those concerning diet and exercise, and how they play a crucial role in managing diabetes to lead to improved health. Our Diabetes Workshop is a needed improvement from the status quo, where often many are left unaware of their health conditions, leading to health complications and shorter lives.
