[#GodshallsPartner] Air Fryer Beef Bacon, Apple, and Arugula Grilled Cheese Sandwich Did you know that you can make the easiest, crispiest “grilled” cheese sandwiches in the air fryer? Here is a recipe for an air fried grilled cheese sandwich with a twist: it includes apple, arugula, and meaty, protein-packed, naturally wood-smoked @godshalls #BeefBacon (our family’s fave - it’s just #SimplyBetterBacon) along with sharp Cheddar cheese on sourdough. Using the air fryer and a trick of using mayo (instead of butter) on the outside of the bread yields the crispiest bread for this unforgettable sandwich. Here’s how to make it! Ingredients: ▪️ 2 slices sourdough bread ▪️ Mayonnaise ▪️ 2 slices sharp Cheddar cheese ▪️ 2 slices cooked Godshall’s Beef Bacon ▪️ Arugula ▪️ Sliced Granny Smith apple ▪️ Nonstick cooking spray Instructions: ▪️ Pre-heat an air fryer to 380 degrees for 5 minutes. ▪️ While the air fryer pre-heats, spread mayo on the outside of two pieces of sourdough bread. ▪️ On the inside of one of the pieces, layer 1 slice of cheese, Godshall’s Beef Bacon, arugula, apple slices, then the remaining slice of cheese. Top with the other piece of bread. ▪️ Spray the air fryer basket with non-stick spray. Place the sandwich in the basket and cook for 6 minutes. ▪️ Flip the sandwich and cook for an additional 4 minutes, or until the bread is your desired toastiness.
