MAY THE FOURTH OR
Star Wars Day adalah hari perayaan tidak resmi yang dirayakan setiap tanggal 4 Mei untuk merayakan waralaba media Star Wars yang diciptakan oleh George Lucas. Perayaan ini dimulai dari lelucon "May the Fourth Be with You" yang mirip dengan frase ikonik Star Wars "May the Force Be With You".
*Sejarah Star Wars Day:*
- Frase "May the Fourth Be With You" pertama kali digunakan pada tahun 1979 di Inggris sebagai lelucon di koran untuk menyambut Margaret Thatcher sebagai perdana menteri.
- Sejak 2011, Lucasfilm mulai secara aktif mendukung dan mempromosikan perayaan ini dengan berbagai acara dan kegiatan.
- Pada tahun 2013, The Walt Disney Company, yang mengakuisisi Lucasfilm pada tahun 2012, secara resmi merayakan hari ini dengan berbagai acara di Disneyland dan Walt Disney World .
*Cara Merayakan Star Wars Day:*
- Menonton film-film Star Wars
- Mengikuti acara dan kegiatan yang diadakan oleh Disney dan Lucasfilm
- Berbagi pengalaman dan kegembiraan dengan penggemar Star Wars lainnya di media sosial menggunakan hashtag #MayThe4thBeWithYou dan #StarWarsDay
- Mengadakan pesta bertema Star Wars atau acara komunitas
