Starting to process some of the photos from the worlds largest Walnut tree! This is a shot of our sawyer, Matt, taking a break from ripping the log in half.
In 2 weeks we'll begin releasing 5/4 and 6/4 lumber from the #worldslargestwalnut. Keep an eye out!

The first of two Oregon Black Walnut logs arrived from a plot south of Salem, Oregon. Over 8’ wide at both ends. The rot in the center of the log makes it difficult to predict the age, but best guess is 94 years. Clean, straight, and historic. A beautiful log!

A historically unique pair of Oregon Black Walnut giants, grown feet apart on a farm in Buena Vista, Oregon, suffered from Thousand Cankers Disease and were brought down together. Happy Earth Day! This year, we’re on track to help plant 600 trees as a part of our replanting program - sell one slab, help plant one tree.
