This might seem silly but this really means a lot to me.
When I was younger, growing up my family couldn't afford much extra and really did save up + work hard to help me curate my interests (before things went bad with them).
I've always been a Punisher fan. Just because things that happened to me throughout my life always made me wish I had a Frank Castle to come and get rid of the bad guys. I was usually in the minority, seeing as how my Spiderman pals kept trying to tell me he was awful. How I liked the villain and that was bad.
I had other heroes I loved too but Frank was always special. He just had to take the back burner in most kid conversations.
Because of my humble growth and tough moments I never really got to feel good about having things that were mine, or felt bad spending friviously on most of my interests.
After help from friends, loved ones and mostly my doctors (sorry friends and lovelies) I've gotten to a place where I finally feel I'm heading in the right direction. That it's okay to enjoy things.
Today I cried from happiness because my inner child finally felt held and happy.
I completed my set of Red Band Punisher! I didn't care about variant covers I just wanted them to be from @juliusohta because WOW! LOVE!
It's also my first complete set I actually set out to collect! Three States and an untold amount of shops I did it (mostly because I was not ahead of the game when they all came out and issue one was so hard to find).
So yeah long rambling story and while it might seem like such a small thing to everyone just having this set means everything to me.
So here's to you young me. Something OURS.
Also to @jonnybernthal - seriously man you're the Punisher my child self would have been rooting for. You're a brilliant actor and put your all into each character you portray. You a beast and I hope one day I get to help more cool actors like yourself in my chosen path!

Happy Free Comic Book Day everyone! I had a theme in mind when I went to my local comic book store. Either one of my two favorite boys: John Constantine or Frank Castle. Frank won. 💕🫰💕 Excited for the new special ✨️. @jonnybernthal is always ah-mazing. Yesterday I participated in making history with my fellow Seattle people and apparently @itswilwheaton (thanks for joining us)! No Kings was so impactful and while I wanted to post all the pics I don't wanna show too many faces besides myself and the person who stood with me.
