At Athlos, our users have always found a way to leave us in awe. @roshan__surve 's 100 miler at UTMB Chang Mai was no exception. One of the harder ultras, Roshan finished the race over a span of 36 hours and 26 minutes.  We’re sharing his story over the next few days as chapters. Why he chose 100 miles, what preparation really looked like, what the race demanded, and what stayed with him after?A story about endurance, patience, and choosing to keep going.

At Athlos we've always been opinionated about how your gym training gear should be. From the choice of Bamboo fabric to the cut and silhouette, we've been particular about them. And when our users end up making it integral to their training it's a huge satisfaction for us. Here's @saif.strength talking about how the Athlos bamboo training collection has become a staple in his training.

We first bumped into @rajath_kodoth in Leh where we were doing our Ladakh Marathon popup. He had just wrapped his bikepacking trip to Umling la pass and looked a unique mix of live and beat. We ended catching up with a very fresh Rajath in Bengaluru on knowing his love for outdoors, sports and what makes him him.

The outdoors hold a special place in our heart at Athlos. More so, when our users go out and seek their time with the outdoors, we feel a special kind of satisfaction. Covering one such user story by @rajath_kodoth in our latest journal article. A long read, it's Rajath's account of his backpacking trip to Umling la, the highest motorable pass in the world. Hope you’ll like it. Link in Bio

Mount Fuji 100 Miles 🗻 World Trail Major Time: 34:34:11
Rank: 327/2115
Gender Rank: 293 Second Indian (fastest) after 2013 to finish this race, two have dnfed in 2022,24 There are always many stories behind every race, and this one had plenty. Before the race, almost everyone I met who had done Fuji 100 kept telling me, “This will feel easier if you’ve done Chiang Dao UTMB 100M.” On paper maybe, Chiang Dao had 9400m of elevation while Fuji had 7600m. But I kept saying, it’s the cold I don’t like, while experiencing just a day before the race.. Coming from the heat of Mumbai, the weather itself was a challenge. Adding to that, poles weren’t allowed in the race, which honestly made both the climbs and descents feel 1.2x–1.5x harder for me. I rely on poles a lot, especially downhill for balance. Everything about this race brought a new challenge. But that’s exactly why I wanted to do it, to see how far I could push myself physically and mentally. I didn’t get the result I wanted after Chiang Dao, yes I had some target and I kept reminding myself of that through this race too and Yet again I fell short of it.. Had enough time to introspect about my training approach with the minimalist training I had, had done mistakes and should work on those before that next challenge.. But until then… we keep chasing the dream #mtfuji100 #ultratrailrunner #ultrarunner #trailrunner #japan

April 12th ,2026 🫡 8 days. 80 kms. 5,364 metres above sea level. Below-zero temperatures. ❄️🏔️ And finally… EVEREST BASE CAMP 🙌🏻 “IT’S SUPPOSED TO BE HARD. IF IT WAS EASY, EVERYONE WOULD DO IT.” Goal #3 before my upcoming 50th — DONE & DUSTED ✅ It’s been a month since my summit, and it still makes me smile ear to ear. 😊 And then came the moment. Standing at Everest Base Camp, surrounded by giants, overwhelmed with gratitude, emotion, and disbelief. ⛰️🙏 No luxury, no comfort, no photograph can truly capture what it feels like to earn that view. This journey was never just about reaching EBC. It was about resilience, patience, surrender, and growth. About learning to keep going — one slow step at a time. ❤️ Forever grateful to the mountains for this experience. 🏔️✨ Huge gratitude to everyone who helped me make this happen 🙏 1️⃣ My Coach — thank you for believing in me even when self-doubt followed me through the trek. The weather was brutal, but we still nailed it! 🙌 @parykom_fitfeattrainings @fitfeattrainings 2️⃣ Himalayan Wonders & my guide Pasang — thank you for making this journey unforgettable and helping me experience the mountains so beautifully. 🏔️ @sept0809_ @himalayanwonders 3️⃣ Go Athlos — your Merino base layers were absolute lifesavers through the cold. Lightweight, warm, and incredibly reliable. ❄️🥾 @goathlos 4️⃣ Fast&Up — summit day happened on water and 3 energy gels when food simply wouldn’t stay in my system. Forever grateful for the energy support! ⚡💪 @fastandup_india @fastandup_sports 5️⃣ My family & friends — thank you for every prayer, message, and word of encouragement along the way ❤️ And finally… this one is dedicated to my Dad. 👨‍👧❤️ Without his teachings, faith, and love — I wouldn’t be here today. Love you Dad ❤️ #EverestBaseCamp #EBC #Himalayas Nepal Trekking MountainLife FitAt50 Adventure DreamToReality
