Thankful for my time in Placencia, Belize. The folks were welcoming and it was a beautiful/ calming recharge.
What a blessing it has been to have the gift of time to slow down for a few days somewhere tropical for this Black Vines event.
Often I’ve found myself leaving home and everything that means, to travel for hours on end and maybe only see the hotel, sound check, show and rush back to the airport in a blur.
It’s not often I get to go to a place and actually get to soak in the sunshine and experience the beauty out side of the show. I’m trying to do this more & more in each city, whenever possible.
It was also a strong reminder to protect our planet and the natural beauty. GLOBAL WARMING is REAL. Because the ocean temperatures are increasing, wild amounts of seaweed are dying/ breaking off and covering the shores of many beaches that meet the Caribbean Sea, so swimming in the crystal clear waters of the ocean is on a bit of a pause. I know we can do more to protect our planet & people.
