Played my first show there around 2002 with TYRANNY and played earlier this year with @dngheavy I've seen many of my favorite bands play that stage. 🥹🫡
A blast from the past! 23 years ago we started this band. 5 kids that loved aggressive music. It began with our first demo which came through inspiration from bands like Eighteen Visions, Poison The Well, and Glassjaw.
As we grew from our first demo our influences became heavier and more aggressive. Bands like Cannibal Corpse, Remembering Never, and On Broken Wings were our influences.
Before the genre was dubbed "Deathcore" we were "too metal for hardcore and too hardcore for metal". We were TYRANNY. Kids from San Gabriel Valley and Inland Empire.
