Larchmont Bench Goes on Tour There’s a shiny new cornflower blue bench on Larchmont — but the beloved wooden bench it replaced? It’s got a big new life. Local musician Garrett Nash, known as Gnash, is taking the bench on the road as part of his fall “Garden Tour” — celebrating the 10th anniversary of his first EPs and his iconic Top 10 Billboard hit *i hate u i love u* (9× Platinum, 2 billion+ streams). The bench will sit on stage at every tour stop, including the LA show on October 23 at Pacific Electric. sometimes love means letting go 💜 out now over the last few years, that’s been the biggest lesson of my life. 2025 changed everything. i separated from my label and from my partner of a decade. painful, but necessary. i’ve come to believe that all change is good change. “just because you love someone doesn’t mean that you should stay together” became my mantra, & i’m so grateful it’s resonating with so many of you now. …so it only felt right that my first independent release would be a song about letting go! the broken hearts club is back. this fall i’m heading out on my first tour in 7 years, celebrating 10 years of “i hate u, i love u” and the first three ep’s - u, me & us (p.s. tour dates + tbhc presale drop monday 2/23 at 10am) this song almost died in a dropbox! @sirlandonj sent the idea as a voice note in 2023. i wrote the verses before everything ended, almost like a premonition. then i broke my arm, posted 30 days of demos, & on day 14, you chose this one… so we finished it together! if we feel together, then we’ll feel better. let’s do this 💜 ilusm - g :):
