Letâs meet one of our 2025â26 fellows â Andrew Ssebulime!
Andrew Ssebulime is a dancer and teacher who shares East African Ugandan folk dance with communities across Riverside and beyond. Born and raised in Uganda, he has lived, choreographed, and taught East African folk dance across Asia, Europe, and the United States. He leads workshops, performances, and community dance programs that connect movement, memory, and belonging, bringing people together through rhythm, culture, and celebration.

Letâs meet one of our 2025â26 fellows â Sriradha Pau!
Sriradha Paul is an Odissi dancer, teacher, and PhD researcher at UC Riverside. With over 25 years of training, she explores how movement connects tradition, creativity, and community. Her work bridges performance and research, using storytelling and cultural context to translate ideas into movement for diverse audiences and contexts. She has performed and taught across India, Europe, and Asia, including France, Germany, Belgium, Sri Lanka, South Korea, and China. A Gluck Fellow, she is passionate about making arts education accessible and joyful for diverse communities.

Letâs meet one of our 2025â26 fellows â Nico Valdivia Hennig!
Nico Valdivia Hennig is a game designer, ludic activist, and researcher with over fifteen years of experience in game design. A PhD candidate at the University of California, Riverside, their research focuses on ludic activism and Indigenous game production in Latin America. Nico is the co-founder of Niebla Games, a Chilean studio selected for the Google Indie Games Fund in 2025. Their work has received international recognition, including Best Game Design at EVA Córdoba 2019 and nominations at A MAZE Berlin 2024 and Gamescom Latam São Paulo 2024. Nico is also a four time Gluck Fellow of the Arts.

Minimal Video Game Creation is a hands-on workshop that introduces participants to creating small interactive games using accessible, open source tools. No prior experience is required. During the session, participants will create a short playable game while exploring simple mechanics, narrative, and visual composition.
Led by UCR Gluck Fellows Nico Valdivia Hennig and Johanna Nieto, the workshop emphasizes accessibility, experimentation, and the possibility of making games with minimal technical resources.

Sammy/Divina is a multi-hyphenate artist who explores acts of transcendence. Immersed in music, dance, visual art, and space curation Divina disrupts the space and time continuum to transport audiences into new realms. Divina moves energy with their body and believes dance is better when itâs together.

I am a doctoral candidate at UCR who researches Asian American marching bands and drum corps. Iâve been a percussion performer and educator for 15 years, and a lifelong marching band enthusiast. I love to inspire others to appreciate and perform percussion from around the world as a 4th-year Gluck Fellow. Thank you to the Gluck Foundation and UCR for supporting diverse music education opportunities in public schools!

Letâs meet one of our 2025â26 fellows â Lucila Tosolino!
Lucila Tosolino (she/her) is a PhD student in the Department of Hispanic Studies at the University of California, Riverside. Her research explores the intersection of literature and artificial intelligence, focusing on issues of creativity, copyright, and authorship. The 2025-2026 academic year is her first as a Gluck Fellow.
Born in Argentina, Tosolino has a distinguished career as a journalist and researcher. She has received numerous awards, including those from the Press and Society Institute and Transparency International. She is the author of the fiction trilogy âDetrĂĄsâ and four non-fiction books. In addition, Tosolino is a music teacher specializing in traverse flute and has extensive experience designing and leading interdisciplinary workshops in creative writing, education, art, journalism, music, and photography for diverse audiences.

Letâs meet one of our 2025â26 fellows â Rebecca Teague!
Rebecca Teague (she/her/hers) is a third-year Ph.D. student in UCRâs History of Art Department. Teague received her MLIS in Archival Studies & an MA in Art History from the University of Alabama, and she also holds a BS in Psychology from Auburn University at Montgomery. She has taught undergraduate art history courses at the University of Alabama and Shelton State Community College since 2019, but her work with elementary school students goes back even further, to 2017, when she spent her time building childrenâs interactive lesson plans for the Alabama Department of Archives and History as a Collections Intern.Â
