Situated on the Yarra River, Seafarers encourage us all to live more consciously. The nature-inspired and sustainably-designed hotel and Residences are renowned for fusing luxury with nature, embracing sustainability, encouraging wellness and providing unprecedented amenity in ground-breaking new ways. Lighting is carefully integrated within the design to create a seamless installation and enhance the earthy materials throughout the space.

Meet Anna ✨
We’re so excited to welcome Anna to the GS team as our new Lighting Designer.
Having recently worked in London, Anna brings experience across large-scale and international commercial projects, with a strong focus on how ideas translate from concept into built reality. She’s hands-on, detail-focused and thrives in the space between design, documentation and delivery.
With a background spanning lighting design and cinematography, Anna brings a sharp eye for composition, contrast and how light shapes a space.
Outside the studio, you’ll find her at an architecture talk, searching for second-hand furniture or somewhere by the seaside.

A quiet moment of balance and movement, this reflective, egg-shaped pendulum by Ingo Maurer captures the beauty of simplicity and rhythm. Its mirrored surface gently distorts and reflects its surroundings, while the slow oscillation brings a sense of calm, grounding, and stillness, a small pause we all need.
Our studio will be closed over the Easter break and we’ll be back Tuesday!

Walkinshaw HQ | Custom Circuit Pendants
A closer look at one of five custom race track pendants installed throughout the new Walkinshaw HQ.
• Mount Panorama Circuit, Bathurst • WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca • Circuit de Monaco • Fuji International Speedway • Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps
Designed for full customisation and manufactured entirely in Australia, each track was CNC cut in the FOS Sydney facility, wet sprayed in custom flat black, and completed in Brisbane with suspension, joiners and LED installation.
All fittings are indirectly illuminated, delivering a soft ceiling wash while keeping the track form clearly defined.

Walkinshaw’s new Australian headquarters and advanced manufacturing facility in Nexus Dandenong South marks a major milestone for the brand’s engineering and production capabilities.
Channeling the heart of the brand, Glowing Structures designed custom pendants inspired by racing circuit tracks for the boardrooms and key front-of-house spaces, developed and manufactured by FOS Lighting.�A detail that ties the space back to what Walkinshaw does best.

Congratulations to our long-time collaborators @glowingstructures on even more accolades for the stunning lighting design of Xavier College – Kostka Building, awarded Gold at the Better Future Australian Design Awards 2026 and Silver at the World Design Awards 2026.
We were proud to support the lighting delivery, working closely with Glowing Structures to curate lighting from the Ark Lighting range alongside our exclusive Luce&Light Italian architectural lighting, specified throughout the project from interior to exterior.
Designed by MGS Architects, whose vision and architectural clarity underpin the success of this project. The continued recognition reflects the brilliance of the space and the experience of moving through it.

We are proud to share that our lighting design for the Xavier College Kostka Building has been awarded Gold at the Australian Design Awards, adding to the project’s continued recognition across national and industry awards, including the Learning Environments Victoria/Tasmania.
Our lighting scheme was carefully crafted to enhance learning, inspire curiosity, and honor the school’s rich heritage, all while embracing adaptability and energy efficiency.
